I don't know if you've seen this but it would be interesting to try to tackle all of these. There are close to 1,000 labels here, I think.

I also have a list of more bizarre ones from the 90's-early 2000's which I found on auction sites. I'll dig in and see what I found.
Are we allowed to post new label topics and if so is there a certain format you recommend?
Hey! Yeah, I've stumbled upon this list before, and others like it.
Yes, of course you're allowed to post new label topics! The perhaps over-ambitious intention is of course to cover
everything, but I'm only one guy with a limited amount of time on my hands, haha. I simply can't do it all right away, so any and all help along the way with info or new topics is very, very welcome! If you make a new topic, I'll add it to this list and try to help to add info if I can
Bizarre 90's library CD labels sounds great! Personally, I don't have a proper grasp on most of these, and love to learn of new ones.
You're free to format your posts any way you'd like, but the template I have used is:
Topic title is the full name of the label as listed on its release (even though these sometimes can get to silly lengths)
*an image of vinyl label or CD featuring the logo if possible*
Short (or extensive!) bio noting nationality, format and, if possible, additional information like founding date, parent company, etc.
i.e.:
British label under Publishing Company, Inc., founded 1987 by Bob Robertson. Transitioned to CD c. 1990.
Format:
Catalogue number - release title - artist, music by composer/alias (real name)/composer (date)
If no artist is listed (very common), I just list the composers without "music by".
i.e.:
LPs:
MLP 001 - Opening Themes - Joe and His Orchestra, music by John Name/Trixy Willes (John Name)/Johnston Troy (Bob Robertson)/Bob Robertson (1987)
MLP 002 - Closing Themes - Chris and the Latin Combo, music by Chris Royce (John Name) (undated)
CDs:
MLCD 003 - Stings and Suspeence Modes - Andy Gordon Orchestra/Johnston Troy, music by Andy Gordon (John Name) (1990)
MLCD 004 - Jinglez for Kats - Bon Jay (Bob Robertson)/Others? (UNCONFIRMED)
If I may soapbox for a bit, I personally have a strict approach for sourcing information. Using the releases themselves if on-hand, or good images of these should be the first choice when compiling info. Sites like Discogs are like Wikipedia, good for a pointer, but I don't trust the information on there if it's the only source. I don't add a date to an entry if there is no date on the release, but Discogs says it's apparently released in 1968 - this information added by some user without listing any source. If a piece of information is unknown, it's better to acknowledge this than to guesstimate or make up info that 'could fit'. If we just copy data wholesale from Discogs, there's not really any point in checking here, you know? Though it covers less ground, obviously, the database on here is much better than Discogs', with less errors and much better info on certain obscure labels
I don't correct errors on the releases themselves, but simply list the information as the releases do. There are a couple of small but charming errors in foreign labels' English titles, for instance. "Life Flash's" I list as just that, even though they probably meant "Life Flashes" - whatever that means.
If an entry seems legitimate, but I have been unable to confirm that it exists or specific info about it, I add an (
UNCONFIRMED) tag at the end - see MLCD 004 above. If (hopefully
when) this info eventually becomes available, I revise the entry.
If I can be of any help along the way, don't hesitate to PM me
