Dimension Music Library
« on: September 30, 2019, 04:06:48 AM »
Owned by 27th Dimension Inc./Roland St. John Hanneman (ASCAP).

This is rare library from Florida (the mailing address being from Jupiter and Okeechobee)

The only library index to be found is the Gold Series released on CD/LP in 1985.

This music library company got my interest because it was used in a children's video series called Live Action Video for Kids/Real Wheels.

As of August 2019, a Youtube channel, Real Wheeler, has been posting tracks that have been used in the series. Feel free to spread the word and subscribe, no re-uploading and using the videos. The music is not royalty free.

Check it out. A new track is posted every day.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPePHsBNIDZXXn4Pgir8Tvg/videos

The library's composers are usually Roland St. John Hanneman, Gregg Drzewicki, and Steve Quinzi.

Here is a track list of the 343 cuts from the Gold Series. The ones that are bolded are used in the Real Wheels videos. The Gold Series heavily uses a Yamaha DX7 and an Oberheim DX drum machine, and also floppy disk samples for E-MU Emulator II.

Some tracks use holophonics, a binaural recording processed developed by Hugo Zuccarelli which is also used in the Dimension Sound Effects Library released in 1987.

Here is a link to the Index of the Gold Series

Another awesome library music track used by JWC Environmental's Muffin Monster demonstration video and in the children's videos from Real Wheels, There Goes a Monster Truck and There Goes a Motorcycle.

It is called Rocksports by Gregg Drzewicki.

An alternate underscore mix can be found on Sound Ideas' Mix Broadcast Music Library under a different name "Straight from the Hip". Custom 60, 30, 15 second mixes from the underscore track.

This track from Dimension Champion was heard in the Real Wheels/Live Action Video for Kids video, There Goes a Spaceship.

No composer listed. It's likely Roland St John Hanneman since he owns and produces the library's tracks in Florida.

The track is called "Magical Flight".

Can't this thread be just about updates on the label rather than posting about Real Wheels?
You have started a thread purely for Real Wheels, maybe updates posts in there with the samples and information. I keep looking at this thread thinking there is new information on Dimension when it is just a post about where the library has been used.

The music library i've wanted. But sadly, it is a little bit incomplete. I would need all of them to complete the music tracks of the library that follows:

- Dimension Gold (Dimension Gold 1-10 CD/LP)
- Dimension Platinum (Dimension Platinum 1-10 CD)
- Dimension Champion (Dimension Champion 1-10 CD)
- An 2-CD rare Christmas library set called "Sounds Like Christmas" (also found on Sounddogs)

How's that sound? Would you guys agree to do it for me? Let me know when i got a reply. Thank you! ;)
