My copy arrived few days ago. A bit more expensive compared to other countries, but it's ok. An exciting and exhaustive book.

Wow, just had a look at the book on soundohm - it's totally gorgeous! I need to get this one, especially for the chapters on Joel VDB and Daniela Casa.
That nice little interview by BBC really whetted my appetite; David H. knows his stuff!

Any news about the release of the 2LP library sampler curated by Hollander which he said would be out by the year's end?

Anyone have any more thoughts/impressions on this book down the line?

It was an enjoyable read. Many of the chapters are very short though, as the most of the pages are filled with pictures. Still there was more to read about library music than anywhere else before it.. It was like an introduction. Also because the focus has not much surprises, it targets mostly obvious labels and authors.

Most of the interviews were fun and inspiring to read and full of exciting details, like the descriptions of the British recording sessions or Janko Nilovic's contract on MP2000.

I wholly agree with Roope. An absolute enjoyable read, great to have many pictures. And the most interesting parts are definitely the interviews.

I enjoyed the book very much, although I wish it would be a bit more in-depth. As other say, the interviews are the best bits, however the KPM chapter understandably pale next to Oliver Lomax fantastic book. I was also a bit disappointed by the amount of pages dedicated to movie posters and lobby cards. Why not use that space for more album sleeves?
