roope...kudos for learning of this book! Thanks so much for the alert. I ordered it immediately via Amazon at a handsome discount and it arrived yesterday.

It's 332 pages and I've thus far gotten up to page 30. It's jam-packed with rare photos and album covers (lots of color in this book!) and composer commentaries. Company histories are included and even gets granular in that we get to read specific composition recollections such as Keith Mansfield and FUNKY FANFARE.

The author, David Hollander, is a former child actor whose passion for library music took him Europe and into the bowels of some of the extant companies. There is an excellent foreword by the late George Romero that was penned in 2016.

It's an exciting book and I'm looking forward to reading every word and marvel at its photographs. Clearly a labor of love as I can't foresee this ending up on a bestseller's list. Thank you David Hollander!

And a second shout to roope for the heads up.

Price dropped to less than £30 on Amazon.  I bet this is selling more than they expected (us lot for a start).
Mine came too.  Looks great.

Am awaiting mine.

Have a feeling I met the author at the Utrecht fair a couple of years ago (unless there’s another library book in the pipeline).

Looks to be a step up from the pretty Trunk book, which is more for the coffee table.

This certainly seems to be the year for library music with the film set for release very soon.

This pretty much sums it up. I've gotten through about 200 pages so far. Hollander definitely has a bias for the electronic library releases, which tend to get more commentary and visual highlights in the book.
Also, he admits up front that the book is weighted more toward the UK labels than other regions. That's understandable and fine by me.
