On my last trip to the Beijing Library Music Warehouse, I found a company I've never seen before

Unfortunately, there's only one CD from this company in Beijing, and I haven't found any others.

Only know that he is an American library

If you have anything to add about this library Welcome to leave a message

Cool find! Thanks for sharing, and especially for including scans.
I do wonder how this ended up all the way over there, this CD has had quite a journey.

I don't have the full picture, but I did some digging and have some additional details which might be of interest to you :)

It's not really immediately obvious from the packaging, but this actually turns out to be from the NBC Background Library - note the CD copyright text; "℗ National Broadcasting Company, Inc."
The ASCAP-affiliated publisher Spectacular Music, Inc., similarly seems to be an NBC subsidiary. You can see it mentioned on the labels of the NBC Background Music Library LPs:

I can barely find mention of Perfect Scores Music anywhere online, but stumbled upon a public LinkedIn profile for a person who later became director of music services at NBC gives us a rough date/timeline:

- which corresponds nicely with the 1995 copyright date listed on the CD, too. Nice.
Based on the descriptions given there I would wager a guess that more CDs exist, too.

The matrix number listed in the center ring of the CD (very helpfully readable from your photo/scan!) gives us an even more specific date. It reads:
18394A-02-AR PS-001 950711-02
- Based on the matrix number, the CD looks to have been manufactured by MCOM, whose matrix system also lists its date code (roughly equivalent to manufacturing date) at the end of the matrix number - so this was released sometime around November 11th, 1995.

Last but not least, I can identify the composers for you:
Quote
J. Imbesi = Joyce L. Imbesi, better known as Giovanna Joyce Imbesi
M. Cruz = Manuel J. 'Manny' Cruz, who had a short-lived pop career as singer "Michael Cruz".
C. Stone = Christopher L. Stone, who also did a few CDs for KPM.
T. Truman = Tim Truman, a TV composer who among other things wrote the theme to Melrose Place.
R. Mendelsohn = Ron Mendelsohn, who also composed for MegaTrax.
J. Fraser = Jill Fraser
J. Beal = John Beal

Thank you very much for your answer! In fact, I am always interested in unknown library music companies.
