i had been searching for a flac of this library related lp for a while as it's one of my faves . hopefully a flac rip of the cd will surface at some point. i checked it with spek and it appeared to be legit but i am no expert
anyways killer  murder music throughout on this soundtrack from the don of drama
also of note beat also released a different version of a soundtrack to this film with a differing tracklist

Many thanks bling laden for this share.
Listening right now with headphones. I really like the "dirty" sound of this rip, which sounds to me to be the original vinyl from 1978.

I was looking for a complete rip of this one since a long time. I agree, dope music!

But I'm afraid this could be an upsampled mp3 rip, sadly... (opinions from more expert people here would be very welcome)

yeah that is always my worry of soulseek finds. this rip is different to the old mp3 ones that did the rounds so i'm hoping it could be legit.
one thing though looking at the files in soundforge they are recorded a bit too hot and squared off which would be the reason for the dirty sound.
i got a friend in australia with an o.g copy but he's not really into records and digging anymore and i can't convince him to make me a flac  :'(

I'm very late to this conversation, but I don't know where these suspicions came from. The files look great in Audition.

Very late myself..

Anyways, my suspicions come by watching the dB diagram (not the waveform), when I see all the picks high and low are cut-off which is usually typical of a lossy file upsampled to lossless. A consequence of a "stretch" made to fill the full lossless range of Hz. Am I wrong?

Track A1 "Big Fight" in the pic, extracted with iZotope
