Unknown APM, Emil Ascher, and De Wolfe tracks from "Braingames"
« on: January 25, 2025, 06:52:52 PM »
It's been over a year since I've posted an unknown tracks thread, but I'm looking to see what these tracks are from the HBO educational series, "Braingames". I find this show to be fascinating as it predates a similar show that I have watched as a kid on its sister channel, HBO Family, called "Crashbox", which also contained stock music from APM Music (in which I would later hear the track "The Twin Sisters" by the Clemsford Folk Band from the "Captain Bones" skit in Spongebob Squarepants).

Anyways, the show uses tracks from APM Music (using the KPM, Bruton, and Conroy labels), Emil Ascher, Inc., (using the Boosey & Hawkes, Coloursound, and (possibly) JW Music Library labels), De Wolfe Music, and Network Music.

For some music pieces, there are a few tracks (one classical, one folk/children's, and a couple ethnical) whose arrangements I cannot identify, so if anyone has any information about these renditions of said genres of tracks, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here's the batch: dropbox.com/scl/fo/kpecsnpghsi43q7dv3jkd/h?rlkey=prxak6kccbjsjayijg07fep94&st=j1c7dvbl&dl=0

Update as I've identified "BG_Wrong5.1" as "Alpine Fête" by Andrew Basil from Boosey & Hawkes SBH 2989 "National".
