Hi all, can anyone help me at all?

I just found out today that the music used on the very first ever TV appearance of Alan Partridge was this track...

On both Youtube + Spotify, it's credited to Richard Cottle. By a funny coincidence, I own the CD this comes from:

..but ,on there, it's credited to Richard Green.

Does anyone know, is this a mistake? Is this an alias maybe? On Discogs, it looks like it's definitely linked to the wrong Richard Green who is apparently a US engineer. There are 40 different people with the same name on there, can anyone advise if it's any of them..?
