Interesting news tracks from abroad
« on: July 17, 2023, 11:46:29 AM »
Hello, first of all I would like to apologize for posting very frequently and making too many requests.

Today I'm not home, I am in another country to meet some friends. While I am here, I listen to a random radio station and the music they use for their hourly news report is very interesting and familiar.

I think I have heard the same exact tracks somewhere but I just can't remember where.

I recorded the news report and removed the voiceover (I don't know if I should have done that but I guess it will make the process of identifying the tracks easier since the voiceover is really overpowering the music and you can barely hear it)

I hope someone can identify these familiar but unknown tracks. Thanks!

I found the first track... And I am disappointed.

The track is Cut 9 from the package "Nothing But Class" by JAM Creative Productions...

The station that used this track is not related in any way to WNBC. You can also hear the edit point where they extended the music.

I don't know why they have to steal music when they have a ton of music libraries to choose from. I know for a fact that their studio is full of CDs from various libraries. What a shame.

I hope they didn't steal the music bed too and actually used library music.

They most likely did not steal it. Custom music can be licenced out and/or retooled for any use if the client requested it. Most likely they licenced it direct from JAM Creative Productions and then extended it themselves, which is allowed with any music licence use.
