Don't ask why, long story.  For some reason I have deleted this album and someone has asked for a FLAC copy of it, but only seem to have a crappy 128kbps MP3 of it hidden in a folder where it shouldn't have been so deleted that.  So, having searched the forum I can't see this, but has anyone got a link to a FLAC of this album ?....

Not sure, when I saw the file size, I didn't bother !

I've just loaded it, for giggles. Turns out the 14 MB contain the entire record, at 64 kbit/s. Not the most desirable record musicwise, but there are a couple of mildly interesting tracks. In any case, this one is much better than its utterly boring namesake of CHAP AV 025. Rating is the wrong way around on Dscgs. And, of course, somewhat too high for both. 4.2 for AV 025 is a joke. Sellers giving every rubbish they've got on offer a '5'.

Well, if Retronic gets around to it, that will be nice.

By the way, consider installing an adblocker. uBlock Origin is the best one for FF and does the job nicely. Avoid Adblock plus.

64 kBit/s? Someone wanted to troll a bit, eh? The old Chappels are really mostly sub-standard, often sounding like a 1-man band using CASIO equipment to sell their disk in a gas station bargain bin.. But so many gems hidden in the weirdest albums, so I try everything by myself..

I have not so great experiences with adblockers. I had one built-in in Kaspersky ("anti banner"), and the browsers have rudimentary ones. Each time, some captcha would not load, scripts hang (endless ads like here) and all sort of crap. One website wanted to present me ads so much that it reloaded itself dozens of times until it could get me the ad whose servers were blacklisted; even Youtube had that issue that it would get stuck before a non-blacklisted source could play some ad and let me watch the video. Some websites also told me I have "AdBlock" enabled and was denied access despite I turned off all things. Now, NoScript blocks a lot of garbage, but else, I rather have a bunch o' ads then the fumbling.

Just tried it myself, John, and it works though there was an unusually long delay between pressing the Download button and the download actually starting. Maybe the link needs a VPN from your neck of the woods?

I assume it is the very same Nigel Bates that composed for CARLIN later; if so, he changed his style from "here is a keyboard, let's do some more or less interesting tunes" [l agree with likedeeler in that matter] to fully blown, high-level production music. It is great to see these artists evolve over time in their skills.

Yes I was getting same error and connecting to VPN resolved it.
