ATMOS 001 - Electronic Music | The last few tracks sound to loud/overamplified and I think I still have the unedited file before I amplified it if anyone wants it to redo those tracks- let me know and hopefully it's still in the recycling bin on my other laptop.
I've sliced and tagged the uncut version. Hopefully, the last few tracks are better.

Yay! Thank you Nido!
This one is probably the ATMOS 001 in the best quality existing on the internet.

*BUMP*

Was able to download ATMOS 005 and 020 off of Soulseek.

Does anyone have any of the other albums I have listed, including 014?

I've logged onto SS just now.  The whole run was shared previously.  Feel free to take what you need from me.  Same user name on SS as on here.  Can't help with Around The World though.  Seems to be missing from my collection.

Thanks, you guys! While I am only left with ATMOS 018, those other albums should be enough to tie me over before someone does rip this album in the future.

Thanks for re-sharing these Dan. One or two gaps filled. It's worth noting that against ATMOS 014 Jingles II I had added the comment "imperfect rip" to my copy from last year but couldn't think why. Having seen Retronic's post of 25 June 2023 in this thread I now remember. Track 16 Transmission by Dave Hewson perfectly demonstrates the problems Retronic had when ripping this album. I don't think it's supposed to sound like it does!!

Yeah, I downloaded 14 also and noticed the same.  I just don't think some of the Atmosphere albums were produced very well, hence issues with skipping etc. Maybe the grooves cut were not deep enough hence the stylus just skipping over the surface.  To end, I kept hold of my rough and ready mp3 rip I did years ago.  With it being a jingles album, I'm not that precious about it being a lossless rip.  I also mentioned the overall audio quality on some of the vinyl compared to the later cd re-releases of earlier material.  They sounded way better.

Perhaps the records were intended to be played by ham-fisted dee-jays of the time with stylii like nails and pickups with a brutally heavy tracking force rather than on the more sophisticated equipment of today. I love how you describe yourself as not being "precious" about lossless rips. As someone who thought a 128k MP3 was the bee's knees back then I couldn't agree more.
