Unknown news library track
« on: April 20, 2023, 12:03:56 AM »

I am back with another track, this time from a news programme. As far as I can tell, it could be from a Hi-tech, Sports or News album by the way it is composed. Does anyone know the name of this track or the album? Thanks!

2 months later, I'm still trying to find this track but I haven't found anything. If anyone has any information, please share it with me. I tried searching in the major libraries as well as in a couple of unknown small libraries but I still can't identify it.

That's a pretty bitchin unknown piece of music! It's like late 70's electro disco meets early 90's club music. Are you sure it wasn't an original music package for whatever that news broadcast was?

I mean, the broadcaster that used this piece is really low budget and I have caught them using stock music from various libraries in the past so it probably isn't a original composition. I don't know where they found this track but it's excellent!

UPDATE!

Hello Everyone!

So I couldn't take it anymore, I emailed the broadcaster.

First I asked them to provide a audio file of the track if possible, and a day later, they did.

After they did that, I asked them if they happen to know if the music was specifically composed for their show or if it was from a library music album

They simply responded with: I don't know. Regards.  :-[

Now, that is definitely a very professional way to reply to emails, but it doesn't matter.

It is quite possible that the track was specifically composed for them or maybe it's really library music, but they are hiding it because they think of it as a "trade secret"????

I'm definitely disappointed after this  :( But fortunately, I have the mp3 of the track :)

If you all want, I can send the full mp3 here and maybe we will be able to find it?  :-\  I am still hoping for something.

I just noticed that the MP3 file has a date code: 2002-19-07. Does this date have any significance? I know that The Music Bakery named their albums with dates (for example: April '92, June '93, etc.). Has any other library done this?
