Sadly, you're right. I've checked the CD to the extent of taking the aiff file and dragging it into Audacity. But that is how it is. The disc itself is in mint condition so it's clearly a transcription error when the original CD was compiled. I only have one other version of that track but it is a lossy (mp3/320kbps) on CMM 203.

I've just checked the demo version on the Universal site and the track has the same abrupt start. So clearly an error at their end.
