What the fuck?

I've just noticed that the rip I posted is mono. At least, it has just one channel, so it could also be the left or right one alone. But that seems less likely than a mono mixdown. Or is the record actually mono? No idea at this point. Also not very likely.

Still, it's the better rip, and not treated by noise reduction like the other one.

As this record is quite sought after, I suspect a deliberate fudge by the ripper. Never attribute to stupidity that which is easily explained by malice.

So, I guess we're still short of a decent rip of Zoulou.

PS >> If there are problems with decryption, give me a shout. I've just tested the encrypted archive again (Windows 10, WinRAR 4.00), and it should work.

Thanks Greta.  I downloaded the other version and was very tinny so deleted.  Top notch and very funky !

Track 4 reminds me of Mark Styles - Hot Spots from Omnimusic 143 - Grooves III.  Does anyone reading this have a copy of that album ?
