That was amazing, my friend! And did you guys know what's the best part? Best of all, all of these music from these albums were re-issued on TAA Music's website! (taamusic.com)
Again, thanks for the share! God bless you always!

Hey guys,

I think I am being stupid. When I click on Retromatic I am not seeing anything to do with location (the password). Any help for a dumbass would be appreciated.

I have always had serious ethical problems with the operation that this guy was running on this community. I never say anything because Retromatic has so many sycophant fanbois around here. We should he sharing rips with each other, not selling them or requiring donations. Here are the albums shared in the OP:

You’re not stupid! I had the same problem too.
If you may know, a few years ago Retromatic disappeared from this website, and no longer responds to anyone’s messages. We do not know why. But we know he is still active, his website wasn’t updated too long ago.
But to solve your question, when Retromatic left, all his music left. He removed the links and his location code.
Now, if you want to buy an album of his, it’s nearly impossible to get it from him. Every password link is computer generated/very specific and he won’t respond to you, at least now he won’t.
Your best bet, and this worked for me successfully, is to contact someone on this thread who posted something about that makes it seem like they must have downloaded it. I got a bunch of Retromatic albums from various people, because I contacted them.

To be fair to Retromatic my recollection is that, by placing his password on his profile it meant he only shared his albums with registered members of the forum. Unregistered visitors to the forum cannot access a member's Profile page. Unfortunately, a member of this forum included the password in a post which meant his shares were then accessible to everyone on the Internet, not just members of this forum. Unsurprisingly, he deleted his password, cancelled the links to his shares and, sadly, left the forum.

To be honest I don't blame him. I'm surprised that so many posts in recent months seem to cast him as the villain of the peace when in reality his desire to share his albums exclusively with members of this forum was not respected. I think I'd have done the same.

Who would do such a thing? That is so disrespectful. I agree with you, Retromatic should be respected because he didn't have to share anything with us, but he did. A lot of people on this forum dislike him. I won't name them, but I know there are people like that. Some of them are mad at him because they can't reach him. Some of them are mad at him because they had a bad experience with him or something else. I think, if he ever comes back, they should all apologize.

True, but if you're trying to exercise some control over who can have access to your shares it's a bit off-pissing when someone circumvents that.

This has always been a publicly viewable forum. You never needed to register to see links so it was foolish to think you could keep that password under wraps sharing it on a publicly facing forum like this.

Getting pissed at your own foolish mistakes is foolish in and of itself.

Yeah, i'm still pissed that Retromatic is still trying to do anything to gatekeep us from accessing his rips on musrc.com, i mean, no offense to him, but i feel sorry for him though.

I wish someday, Bringus will come back to change the new standard password for all albums on musrc (and possibly his LMT profile too).
