Hey Flemming, just a quick feedback after checking a few of your shares:

(1) Il bandito dagli occhi azzurri is a low-quality MP3 transcoded to 24-96 FLAC.
(2) La strega in amore appears to be a regular lossless rip (probably from CD), upscaled to 24-96 FLAC.
(3) La dama rossa uccide sette volte appears to be a regular lossless rip as well (probably from CD), upscaled to 24-96 FLAC.

Please note that this is not a complaint. The cunts producing these useless blow-ups still manage to annoy. Not to mention the actual fakers.

The rest I've looked at so far seem legit: CmL 021, MON 32, CAM Sugar 1675, Il castello dei morti vivi.

However, one needs to consider that in many cases the fakers will be the publishers themselves. Which is somewhat understandable. When they come out with a release they upload the fake rips of it to the well-known sharing platforms.

I understand the desire for libraries to control the release of high quality tracks but to upload low bit rate tracks to social media and disguise them as flacs seems a little underhand to me.

I understand the desire for libraries to control the release of high quality tracks but to upload low bit rate tracks to social media and disguise them as flacs seems a little underhand to me.

(1) Library labels do not have much of a desire to curb the free distribution of their music to private persons. These individuals are not their customers.

(2) A record or CD published in 2022 of film music from the 1960s is not a library production. It is a regular commercial release directed at private customers.

(3) Not every record publisher injects low-quality digital files into sharing platforms. But some of them do. It is simply the only (approximately) effective way to frustrate downloaders and sharers of commercially valuable files, and to discourage people from ripping the records themselves and sharing the results.

Publishers are in somewhat of a difficult situation here. That is because sharers tend to be exactly those people who spend considerable money on their products. But it has always been so. Does anyone know of the 1970s-80s industry campaign "Home taping is killing music"? I do not think that was ever true, or is true now, but things are what they are.
