Unknown tracks from 1967 AFL film

Hi everyone - I've identified all but two tracks from this 1967 AFL film, and they are all either from the KPM 1001 album or various KPM Brownsleeves records, or are from the Sam Fox library.  There are a couple tracks that I can't identify though:

00:00 - 00:38
5:30 - 5:50 (this may be the same as the opening track)

Anyone know either of these two?  Thanks for any help!

Much of the music is KPM 1000 series.

First one is 'There's Many A Tune Played On An Old Brass Pot', the second is 'Just For Fun', both by Johnny Pearson on KPM.

As for the first track, I also initially thought that it was 'There's Many A Tune Played On An Old Brass Pot', and it appears that it is, but the version used in this film has piano in the background, and the version on the APM site, which I've had posted on my channel for a while now does not.  I also located another version of this track on KPM 201, and that also does not have piano.  It seems that there was yet another version of this piece that this film somehow got hold of, but which wasn't actually released.  Weird.

I think I know what's happened there - notice how the trumpets that play the main melody sound like they're really distant and buried in the mix?  Someone's screwed up and got the stereo version, but only got one leg. We're missing either the left or right stereo channel, and I think the piano and trumpets are both on it. It's like that on the EMI PM site too.

I think I have the true stereo version somewhere, but I can't get to it right now.

Yep, I too noticed the 'distant' sound.  Your theory sounds very plausible.
