Greetings!
I've bought a vast amount of The Prisoner CDs (and LPs) in my days: the Silva Screens CDs, the Bam-Caruso LP, the first Network 3 CD set, the privately issued Chappell 3 CD set, and now the latest 6 CD set put out by Network a couple of years ago, thinking "This is it... This must FINALLY be the most COMPLETE and BEST-SOUNDING version of this music!" only to be let down once again.
This is 2019 after all, and there is still no definite collection of the library cues and the original music recorded for this classic TV series, so I guess I'll have to do it myself hopefully with help from the friendly people of this great forum!
There have been an amazing amount of high-quality shares of various Chappell titles here. Huge thanks once again! I might have missed some Chappell uploads here and there, but I'm trying to track down better versions of the following recordings. I've mostly used the original 10" catalogue numbers, but corresponding LPC series reissues are just as welcome.
Any help at all finding these tracks (or the complete albums they're from) or pointing me in the right direction is most appreciated! Many of the tracks below are completely smothered in intrusive noise reduction on the various CDs I have.
My plan is to share the compilation here later on when it is finished. Everyone contributing in any way will of course be credited! Thanks in advance!
