Valentino Library CDs?
« on: December 05, 2018, 01:44:23 PM »
Anyone have Valentino Library CD from the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s when they ceased to exist? I'm amazed that a label this huge and important with a lot of great songs is removed, never to be heard from again.

Does anyone have their CDs or any sub-labels associated with them? It would be appreciated. I would pay good money if anyone can offer them.

They're still around, sort of, but are now under BMG Production Music. A large part of their back catalogue saw re-release in digital format under the "Valentino Vintage" label.

I don't have any of their CDs, but think I have a list of sub-labels somewhere... let me get back to you on that.

Thanks, know any place I can get the cds though? Why are they being hidden, every other major label puts their classics cds up? I'm confused.

I got around 30 or so Valentino cds but most of it is probably on BMG.  The first 15 vol's or so are the same versions as the later LP's just with extra cuts

there are a few ones that maybe didnt make the site like below but I maybe wrong

CD 24 - Beatriz Franzetti - New Age
CD 39 - Lola Blank -Themes

Thank you for more of an insight into this. I also have been looking to obtain the older 1980's/1990's CD's.

Any chance you would be able to share those 2 CD's that did not make it to the rehashed Valentino library which is available now. Also do you have CD 94 & 95?

Thanks

I'll share those two on the rips section.  39 is as high as I got, I try to stay out of the 90's lol isn't not my cup of tea

I mean, those are all compiled by BMG. The original discs in their original release dates are missing. And many many songs are missing. Those compilations leave much to be desired.

Hi Killa - I just came across this post. I’m searching for Valentino CD 34 which I believe is called Up Tempo.

I’m trying to find a copy of a track called Newsbreakers by Walter Murphy.

Is this something you have and maybe could help with?

Many thanks!

Comprehensive Video Supply Corporation was Valentino related? Never knew that. They were based out of New Jersey according to the vinyl LP's, when Valentino/Major was New York. Very interesting info there.
