Thanks a lot for your inputs, everyone! I have updated the main post now, including the troves of new information that has become available since its last update.

This might already be known, but copyright paperwork seem to indicate that the "MR" cues were written by William Loose-Emil Cadkin-Jack Cookerly and published by; May-Loo Music / Rita Ann Music BMI.

Despite their name, I had nothing to do with these, I swear.
In the DETAILS FROM CATALOG section, the ???? on D-31/D-32 should be "Weird/Eerie". That page actually is in my catalog; I simply forgot to scan it! :-X

Great, thanks for the correction! Missing a page or two when scanning this doorstop of a catalogue is only human, hah.

Would the following then also be correct for Reel D-32?

Comp: G. Hormel
Pub: Bistro Music BMI
Cue letters, all: ZR-

Henry Russell may be the composer behind the "R-" cues if these pages are correct:

Is that right?

It's not immediately clear to me where the Toonzone user got this information, but a composer called Henry Russell (real name Henry Russell Olson, pseud. Johnny Hillbrook) does exist.

apmnut has mentioned the same info in this thread - maybe he can chime in.

edit: Yowp posted some more details in this 2009 blog post:
https://yowpyowp.blogspot.it/2009/12/capitol-hi-q-cartoon-music-for-huck-and.html

Here's the full article from Billboard that is mentioned there:

I unfortunately I can't seem to find any direct copyright entries tying him to the "R" cues, so I can't really confirm it with certainty, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's incorrect either. Russell is credited for cues on the Gumby Show, so he's absolutely a likely candidate.

As always, the answer may very well be listed in the earlier edition of the Hi-"Q" catalogue, which hopefully will turn up any day now :D
