Potential library song sampled in 'Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass'
« on: September 12, 2018, 09:25:48 PM »
Hey guys,

In my neverending search for the origins of samples I've stumbled upon another track that sounds a lot like it could be from an (electronic-oriented) library record.
The song in question is 'None Shall Pass' by Aesop Rock (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEBGCOCxLgA&feature=youtu.be).
The producer of the song has confirmed that the original sample is a loop, as heard in the Aesop Rock song.

I was hoping the loop sounds familiar to any of you, whether it ends up being from a library record or not.

Allegedly it's this Brian Eno tune, but it sounds to have been tampered with a fair bit.

The producer Blockhead has confirmed that it's not this and in fact a straight loop from somewhere
