Hi everyone
I’m trying to identify a piece of production library music used on ITV/LWT in the early 1980s.
The Audio Source: You can hear the track clearly between 0:06 and 0:25 in this YouTube clip -   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV5qMRx5WEc
Broadcast Context: It is the primary backing track for the network-wide ITV "Special Season" / World Cup promo trailer broadcast on Friday, 4th June 1982.
Musical Style: It is an upbeat, fast-paced 1980s library synth-disco / electro track driven by a very distinct, punchy live brass section melody over a driving electronic rhythm.
Potential Clue: I have strong reason to believe this exact same library track was reused a few years later by LWT as the signature theme tune for their New Year 1985 regional ident package / junction cues.
Given the era and LWT's typical broadcast presentation packages at the time, it likely originates from one of the major library houses like Bruton Music, KPM, or De Wolfe from late 1981 or early 1982.
It acts as a high-energy bridge in the promo before crossfading out at 0:25 into a more traditional orchestral arrangement for the World Cup soccer footage.
Does anyone recognize the track name, composer, or the specific library vinyl compilation album this is on?
Thanks in advance for any leads!
