Hello.
I am writing to ask for help regarding a piece of music that I have been searching for a decade now without success.
It is the background music used by the RAI 2 weather program from 1987 to 2003. The author should be Cesare Carotenuto but I am not 100% sure.
I am referring to this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyh5xSkp5cI
Here, unfortunately, you can't hear it very well because it consists of parts extrapolated and edited to improve the sound.
Searching the net, I think it should be in one of these collections called "Nuovo Repertorio Musicale".
So I ask anyone who has downloaded and listened to the collections posted here if they can kindly confirm the actual presence of the above song.

I warmly thank everyone who can lend me a hand in making a dream come true,
Alex

Hello Mario, and welcome to the board.
I tried to dig a bit into this yesterday, but unfortunately I found nothing.
To be honest I never heard about one Cesare Carotenuto. By searching in the siae database by his name, the results are more than one hundred and they can't be displayed.
Because of this I couldn't even see some of the tracks credited to him to see at least by which companies they were published.

Discogs doesn't help either, the only Carotenuto credited for some tracks on Fonit label is one Ottavio Carotenuto...

Thanks for the welcome and help, Greta!
I'm not 100% sure that piece is by Cesare Carotenuto, I had read it in a discussion on YT.
Unfortunately I can't even find the title, in that case I would have had a few more chances to find it...I have to admit that it is really hard to find.

These disks are surprisingly cool!

I just have a question about NRE1232 - at each track there is this pitch bending going on at the very beginning. Almost like a tape drive not being driven properly by the motor / low voltage.
How is that possible with a record player? Or is it like that on the disk too? I also feel like there is some wow and flutter present? I mean at White Dream at 2:00 for example, you can hear it very well.

Thanks for adding me to your site. I am a lover of TV music and soundtracks, I discovered you by pure chance. In particular, I really like these compilations of the New Rai Editorial Repertoire, but unfortunately almost all the links are offline. Is it possible to put them back online? Thank you all in advance and see you soon.
