The Etsuko Nishio Tape
« on: Today at 04:22:44 PM »
In the land of Lostwave, there is a tape featuring what I believe is a NSFW video of Japanese actress Etsuko Nishio.
While this may seem like it has nothing to do with Library Music, it has everything to do with it.
Because the tape features 11 songs from Japanese music libraries.

This is the full tape track listing:

Most of the songs have been found, and some found by members of this forum, but there are still 4 unknown songs, and they're most likely on an obscure Japanese music library CD.
Checking places like Yahoo! Japan could result in finding these CDs. I would bet all of the unknown are from the same music library, or perhaps two.

I will listen the ones found and for the ones not found, I will use placeholder names, as what I think the songs might be called.
For the sound factory tracks, you can buy the tracks individually on DL Music.

Track 1: Studio Com - Miss Me Please
Track 2: Sound Factory - Back In Town
Track 3: Unknown (maybe called "Sailing"?)
Track 4: Studio Com - U.S. Highway Star
Track 5: Sound Factory - New Days
Track 6: Unknown (maybe called "Destiny"?)
Track 7: Unknown (maybe called "Paradise"?)
Track 8: Sound Factory - Perpetuity
Track 9: Sound Factory - Ocean Road
Track 10: Sound Factory - Fly To Me
Track 11: Unknown (maybe called "Start Again"?)

In the “Lost Wave” community, the only thing I really want to track down is probably the remaining four English songs on this tape.

A major reason I’ve kept buying Japanese music library CDs is that I’m hoping to find the music from this tape.

Japan is a country that takes music copyright very seriously, so they would definitely have used music from a music library like this on the tape. The few tracks I’ve found so far confirm this

But as for the remaining unknown tracks from that label, I have absolutely no clue. It might be some very obscure label—at the very least, there are no websites offering online previews. My only option is to buy CDs that were released back in the day.

Plus, these four tracks are all performed by the same group of singers, so they must be from the same label—maybe even the same album.

I think we might have to talk to experienced people whether find it ourselves.
Why I say this is because my friend Hibiki somehow knows the track listings and track names for MUSiA songs, even though he doesn’t have the albums.
I think Takezo may know something about these tracks, but I don’t think he likes me so I think maybe you should try that. But I don’t know where he may be right now, he removed a lot of videos from his channel.
Although I do think that 1991 website does mean something and could help us find it. I think they’re all from the same library because (1): they are all vocals in english and (2): there is only two other music libraries used in this tape.
But perhaps browsing different sites could find us a lead too. I believe there did used to be a MUSiA website, we should try to find that… idk.
Speaking of lostwave, the Booth Brothers released the original version of Ulterior Motives a few days ago!
