These two non-library LPs are yet another couple of examples of non-library LPs with rare Mozart Edition material on them. Like the Tempo Records LPs I shared a while back, these two LPs contain cues mainly by Orchestra Raphaele, but these two LPs also feature a couple cues by Cedric Dumont and his Orchestra (For the namesake's cues) and Walter Heller and his Orchestra (For the Ronald Binge cues). The copy of Volume 1 I have is the Stereo version of this LP (A mono version exists of this LP too), but I only have found a mono copy of Volume 2 (To my knowledge, Volume 2 doesn't seem to have a stereo version as of now). The first volume also contains tracks from a suite by Charles Kalman named the "New York Impressions" suite, which was originally a four-part suite, but on this LP, only three of the four movements are on this LP, being "Sutton Place Promenade", "New York Nocturne", and "On The Thruway". The missing movement that was left out of this LP is named "Adirondack Trip". The second LP also contains a cue from Gerhard Trede named "Danube Nights". For some reason, Mozart Edition material sometimes credit Gerhard as Gerd Trede. General Music Publishing (AKA General Recorded Editions) were also known on later LPs as Serenus Recordings, and one of their LPs under the Serenus name had a side featuring Mozart Edition material from composers like Gunter Neumann, Werner Eisbrenner, and Alex Alstone amongst others, but the other side of that LP also contains Russell Garcia pieces originally published by Hans Wewerka, and not Mozart Edition. I really do wish there were other non-library LPs with Mozart Edition material on them (I have heard about the Rowe Customusic background Music records, but I'm talking about regular non-library LPs, and not background music record examples). Enjoy!  :)

Thank you very much WSBG. I'm always impressed with your shares. The quality of the recordings especially. It's always proper music played by proper musicians on proper instruments. Brilliant. You really must put in a lot of time trying to find rare gems like this and it's much appreciated. I see from the Discogs entry that Lord Thames will be pleased to hear these - though probably even happier to own them!!

Thank you. have the "Rowe Customusic" albums been shared before? I don't think they have, but if they did, i would like to hear more rare Mozart cues.

Rowe Customusic isn't a traditional music library, as they're more like Seeburg 1000 records, which both contain both non-library and library material sometimes, sadly without a track list for them.

Very enjoyable WSBG!  I'm digging New Look by Frank Pleyer while writing this.

Lovely stuff, WSBG!

The Charles Kalman "New York Impressions" suite is especially beautiful.

I do not have Adirondack Trip in my collection. Not only that, but Mozart Edition was mainly a tape-only library with at least 3000 cues in the catalog, much of which not having a re-issue on any of Mozart Edition's record releases (Either on their LPs or 78s, or the Australian 45s distributed by Allans Music). Some of those missing cues have seen non-library issues, either on commercially released LPs from budget labels, or on some occasions showing up without track name or composer credits on non-traditional background music records like the Rowe Customusic or Seeburg 1000 records that usually played in stores.

Are there any rips of Seeburg 1000 albums that might contain Mozart cues? or cues that sound like and could be from that library?

What might be a good idea is making an index of all the ME tracks not issued on vinyl on the label's page in the respective section in the forum, for easy reference, with notes about if they were released anywhere or not.

The tracks in the catalog are listed by tape number starting from tape/track No. 1 (For example, "Polka Chromatique" by Walter Peters is tape/track No. 476), though unfortunately we do not have a catalog book for this library, so we don't have all of the tape numbers for these tracks.
