Today, 6:00 AM at work I realized I forgot to post not only about the release dates being wrong from the albums - but also the different tracks often originally come from totally differnt labels and thus are released in yet another year..
I mean by that that Primrose Music swallowed/licensed a lot of other labels (e.g. Flower, Flipper Music) and thus singular tracks are orignally from totally different labels and albums. Thus Primrose is the worst nightmare for taggers and if you are a tagging enthusiast, Discogs and the Fandom will be your close friend when working with Primrose releases. Depending on your, ahem, enthusiasm, you should check track for track if that Primrose track is a re-issue from the past.
Also, if you Google, you will find the original cover arts as some of them are also re-issued. Another issue is the lack of proper naming in some of these albums; It took me a thorough research to get some of the truncated names right (e.g. "A. BlaBlaBla" to "Alessandro BlaBlaBla").
This label also is the origin of the background of the "Wendy's Hot Drinks" training video.
