New Southern NSL 1015 James Asher - Inter-vision
« on: March 30, 2026, 03:55:04 AM »
Please would anyone have this 1986 album they could share?
It’s one of those releases that fetches a high price for the vinyl original. I’m happy with MP3.

Thank you.

Thank you Dyo, that's a great help.

By the way, I've noticed that your links to files you have uploaded are clickable/hotlinked. The forum moderators don't want clickable links as it could result in the forum being taken down.
The easiest way I find to post links is to remove the https , therefore keeping the forum safe.

Thanks again.

From now on I will not edit hotlinks anymore, but only delete them.
After hundreds of times this has been said but unconsidered, it's a matter of respect.

Greta,

I know from experience that hotlinks are not allowed however, I can't see any mention of this on the forum other than interventions where people have posted them?

I agree — it would be really helpful to have a 'Dos and Don’ts' post pinned somewhere. It would not only guide newcomers on how things are done here but also serve as a useful reminder for the rest of us.

I wonder if the "Start New Topic" and "Quote" features could be customized to warn against using hotlinks?

Guys, I've never minded about hotlinks posted by newcomers, I've always just edited saying please not to do it again in the future.

What honestly is quite unbearable is to see old members keeping posting hotlinks.
That feels like what we ask is just not important to someone, ore they just don't care, ot they just don't get it, or they just were absent-minded, or whatever else.

Dyo, against whom there's nothing personal but he was only the last one, will post again the non-hot links to the shares and he will probably better remember what to do next time.

Do you really think that do's and don't's pinned thread would really work?
I'm just remembering of the terrible experience we had with the non-library section where we got hundreds of out-of-focus posts even after hundreds of calls, till we got to close it.
Most people just don't pay attention, or, they just don't even visit certain sections of the board going straight to the Shares or Requests sections.
We always preferred to politely ask from time to time to respect some little simple observances instead of put down a set of strict rules.

Forgive my outburst, but it's frustrating to have to repeat things a thousand times and find out that some people still aren't listening to you.
