Back in 1981, when personal hifi was a new thing, there was of course the Sony Walkman... and as always happens there were a host of other companies producing their own imitations. One of those companies in the UK was Binatone, who produced the mini-fi and hip-fi.
In order to demosntrate the capabilities of this amazing high fidelity stereo player, they supplied a cassette with it, contaning four disco-instrumental tracks... two per side. Unfortunately I cannot remember the titles of two, but the ones I can remember were called "Big Monster" and "Sex Bus"!
Now it's very unlikely that a budget electronics comany would have commissioned a composer and a full orchestra to record these tracks, so it seems likely that these tracks came from an LP, perhaps one that was not commercially available in the UK. It may even have been (gasp) library music!
If anyone out there can remember seeing a disco record with these titles, I'd love to hear about it. There is of course the unfortunate possibility that the tracks were renamed... although I don't know if Binatone would have chosen the title "Sex Bus"!
There was some pretty good brass playing in them, as far as I can remember.
