Sonoton 60th Anniversary book
« on: March 22, 2026, 09:12:47 PM »
This may be of interest to some on here - S60, the mini coffee-table book marking 60 years of the Sonoton library is available from the designers:

store.discopogo.co/merch/559493-disco-pogo-sonoton-60

It's not cheap, unfortunately, but it's got some nice bits in it, like an interview with Gerhard and Heidi Narholz, mini biogs of some of the composers, a discography etc - a lot of stuff about the library business in the 21st century too, which while not my era at all is fairly interesting from a business perspective!

Hurray, happy 60th anniversary to Sonoton. Let's go guys.

Not cheap, huh? Yeah, i agree, but not that expensive neither. It's just a mid-range balanced price, so it's neither cheap nor expensive in my opinion. Also, if i'm not mistaken, then in my country, if i convert $45 to Indonesian Rupiah, it's as nearly as Rp765.000 according to my research.

Apology in advance for that, but it is my opinion on that. :)

It's a joke, Yohannes. Don't worry. As explanation, in England there is a belief that people from Yorkshire have a reputation for being "careful" with their money. 😂 😂
