A few albums from different libraries.
« on: January 27, 2026, 11:00:32 PM »
Recently, I've been interested in a few albums that appear to be quite hard to find. So I'm just going to request them here.

Chappell:
CHAPAV 028 CD - Well Known Tunes Vol. 1
CHAPAV 029 CD - Well Known Tunes Vol. 2

LPC 370-376
LPC 956-959

De Wolfe:
DW/LP 3094 – Flight Of The Heron: The Music Of Peter Knight
DWS/LP 3476 - From Other Lands No. 12 - Spain And Mexico

Major Records:
80 [Non-Sped Up Version]

Southern Library of Recorded Music
MQ/LP 43 - National Moods / Fanfares, Harp, Comedy, Links, And Bridges

And, oh boy! They're both FLAC. Mind if i share them with you?

Thanks for the bump though it's not clear which is the new album you've added. That said I've checked all those you're looking for. I have DWLP 3094 here ==> pixeldrain.com/u/4hdymZge

Regarding Major 80 I only have it in lossy. But how would I know if the copy I have is the sped-up version or not? And wouldn't a visit to Audacity be enough to slow tracks to the speed you require. Just curious that's all.

First, thanks for DW/LP 3094. I do appreciate it. Could I just have waited for De Wolfe to release a higher quality version of the album? Yeah. However, on the off chance that they don't, I'm just glad to listen to the album at all. At least I can confirm that DWCD 0102's "Dramatic Link No. 1" is, in fact, just "Link A".

Regarding 80 however, I feel as if I hadn't made myself clear. The following link (fi it's okay with the people) does have the album in full, but it's sped up by a little less than 25%. I guess you can say I didn't want people to download the album only for them to be required to slow down the thing themselves. However, the initial reason was pretty wacky. I found a video upload on YouTube that had the full album but in High Restoration. I listened to it and compared to the Valentino Vintage versions of the songs and actual un-restored version, the version I watched sounded pretty bad (no offense to the person who runs the channel). I initially had that request because I thought when I did it that it would sound that bad. Then, while typing this very comment, I actually tried slowing down the album's tracks to its original version, and it isn't that bad. So what a fool I was.
