I couldn't resist following Eternas Ondas Musicales' hint pointing to the now (almost) lost LMT pages on archive.ph. There's stuff still to be found!

However ...

I also stumbled upon this old page >> https://archive.ph/Aw0by << where stackjackson noticed that the rip (supposedly Andrew's) of APP 5008 was incomplete: tracks 8 to 14 are identical to tracks 1 to 7. I've checked the files, and my copy of the rip also has this flaw.

Does anyone have a complete recording of APP 5008 he could provide?

Glad you took the plunge likedeeler. Indeed there's loads out there especially from 2020 which I presume I missed first time round due no doubt to the COVID distraction. Like I said I found it to be a goldmine.

Some of the tracks are featured on other albums eg Go-Getter is on tuneboy's Sound Library Vol 149, If I Dream and Sweet Seventeen on Apollo Sound's Cut Television Tunes, Caresses on Apollo Sound's Flip Your Disc and When You Smile on Apollo Sound's Test Card Music album. Which leaves two tracks I haven't found just yet. Would it be heresy to suggest we try to re-create 5008 by "borrowing" these tracks?

Regarding the addition of missing tracks from other sources to an incomplete vinyl recording: I am a bit skeptical.

Firstly, there is the danger of misleading others who may believe they are listening to something they're not, in fact, listening to. Namely a vinyl recording of APP 5008.

Secondly, this attempt might discourage potential rippers from recording it because they will think that the rip already exists.

I don't wish to curb your enthusiasm, though.

But: how about contacting tuneboy for an entire, proper rip, if he indeed is in possession of the record? Or Andrew himself, but it seems that he got lost in the meantime. Or perhaps someone else will turn up ... Retronic may even have it!?

No, it's fine. I hesitated to make the suggestion. Only I seem to remember a few years ago you (I think it was) politely taking Greta to task for suggesting she substitute a bad track on one album for a good version from another. I take your point. Let's hope that one of our brilliant contributors might be able to fix this particular glitch with a fresh share of APP 5008.

I have the same copy which was provided a few years back via Andrew/Greta combo.  I've had a search around and can't see the full vinyl rip.  Even the mp3 version doing the rounds is the same which now makes me doubt the authenticity of the FLAC version supplied.  Fingers crossed someone comes across this album and is willing to provide a new rip and share with the LMT community.

I ran the version I downloaded in 2021 through Lossless Audio Checker which I've found to be pretty reliable. It reckons tracks 8-12 and 14 are true FLACS but tells me track 13 What Shall I Do has been upsampled. It certainly sounds like someone has been tinkering with the rip. It wasn't me, honest!

I managed to find the list Andrew sent me years ago, with all the vinyls in his possession, and I can state APP 5008 rip you're talking about guys, is not from him.
I already knew that even without checking the list, cause the rip I have (same as yours) doesn't contain the classical Andrew's txt nor the good quality cover scans, but it served as further confirmation.
I don't know who shared the faulty rip, but it was not me/Andrew.
