I've been having fun with a new ai piano transcription model and thought i'd share some results in case anyone's interested in midi files.
The transcriptions are fairly accurate—down to a few milliseconds. the midi is in real time, so play it back at 120bpm for the correct timing. results vary: It works best with isolated, in-tune piano recordings. in some cases, it also transcribes rhodes, guitar, vibraphone, and similar instruments.
