Here you go @lebikini. I bought this in a CD store in Crawley in the early 90's when there were such shops around. It wasn't until I found this CD that I realised Test Card music was available to the general public. Needless to say it is a treasured CD.

I remember seeing an advertisement in the Radio Times for this CD, back in, (I think it was), 1996, and couldn't wait to order it via mail order.  I remember sending it off and then forgetting all about it until I received it through the post, some 2 weeks later.  I always remember the evening I put the CD into my player and listened to it for the first time, whilst reading the booklet that came with it.  A proper nostalgia-fest, for sure!  Weird how music you've not heard for decades can conjure up long-lost memories and feelings, isn't it?  I remember it came with a postcard of Test Card F, with the title, 'The Girl, The Doll, The Music', on it.  A bit later on, I purposely went out of my way to buy a one hour long video tape and make my first, 'mock', trade test transmission using a video camera I had at the time hooked up to my VCR, pointing at the postcard so it filled the entire frame, with the audio of the CD piped in.  I think it was about the only time I properly used the fade-in and fade-out function of the camera, at the start and end of the CD.  I even made a label for the tape and covered the box for it with a printed label of the track-listing.  I also covered all the white areas of it with green highlighter pen!  It looked hideous, but at least I knew where to find it to play it.
