I was not planning to bring this thread up again, but at least one new development occurred in meantime.
The series returned to a notable night time slot at the same network that debuted this mysterious track with the very same 1993 opening, but for unknown reasons they removed the song and replaced it with 'Flying Fists' from Bruton Music in a very
sloppy edit. Flying Fists is one of the themes used in the dubbing of the Chapolin show in Brazil since late 80s.
Much was discussed by fans of the show about what is behind the decision to remove the track after 30 years, but the network have been gradually removing classic themes from its programming due to budgetary cuts. Worse than that, they probably don't know who holds the rights to the theme and axed it as precaution.
The network also launched a streaming service with its classic programming from 1980s and 1990s and I could find Bruton, KPM and examples tracks embedded in its shows, but this specific track was not featured in any of the shows aired until the present moment.
That's it.
