Note:
If any member here should happen to find a track on any of these comps that are sourced from their own rips, I can only say: Think of it as a donation to a good cause. It's impossible for me to keep tabs on where all the tracks come from. I often have 2, 3, 4 or 5 versions of the same track, I compare them, choose the best-sounding, clean them and finally rename them. So in this process keeping tabs is an impossible task. But as a general rule: My own record collection will always be the main foundation.

Synthesizers in the 80s are usually not my bag of tea, but since I discovered Kraftwerk and Yellow Magic Orchestra in my youth, I've had a warm slot in my heart for synthpop of many kinds. Even some J.M. Jarre and Vangelis get a hearing sometimes. But in general massive, long and pretentious synth opuses bore me. By exploring different library labels I found that the output from RCA/Koka Media contained - inbetween all the horrible drum machines and crude techno-noises - a short tune here and there that soundwise reminded me of YMO and suchlike from the late 70s and early 80s. These were tunes that seemed to treat synthesizers in a sensible and sensitive way, often in combination with analogue sounds, or percussion and soundscapes that really brought some colorful pictures to my mind. A track like A. Frydman's "Nautile", for instance, made me see clearly the ghost of a giant rusty submarine hulk deep under water, with old Captain Nemo at the helm, while complicated machinery and cogwheels propelled the giant submarine through dim, dark green ocean wastes....like the Flying Dutchman, but forever floating in the deep... It's wonderful when music makes you see such scenes!
I soon had a folder of around 100 tracks from RCA/Koka Media that I really liked. Then I boiled them down to these two comps, containing 42 tracks. Some are from my own LP rips, others from accumulated downloads from this forum, or from CDs that I've bought. Hope you like these selections!

JUST LIBRARY
As a compulsive library compiler, I had to ask myself: But what about all the great tunes that don't easily fit into any obvious theme concepts or categories? I started putting them into folders that had no name - until I ended up with calling them "Just Library". So here are the first 7 volumes of "just library" music. I hope they make for an entertaining mix. They can surely also be used as introductions to the field for the uninitiated (of which there are still billions out there, strangely enough!) They contain both classic killers and underrated fillers that need some new love (imo). Most of the tracks are melodic stuff from my beloved decade: the 70s. I hope they can be enjoyed by some of you seasoned library fans as well. Nuff said. (All in wave format this time.)

Thanks, nidostar. Yes, it's a long-term project, but the categorizing and selection belongs to the fun part. The only practical way to do it is to write down the titles every time I hear an outstanding tune, put it under a suitable heading, or put the file itself in a suitable folder at once. Otherwise it would be total confusion.
The un-fun part is to clean the tracks manually and get a good loudness level among the tracks. Many more are under preparation.
I can even spend days on getting the 'covers' right, for some silly reason. I guess I'm obsessed. A nice obsession it is.

Brand new from the comp factory, only HQ LP rips:
Sound Library vol 156 - The Easy Magic of Werner Drexler's Go-Go-Sound
hxxps://mega.nz/#F!fHIVnSSB!1LBKVICRLIDTrvPzDJ7rHg
(https://i.imgur.com/Z44hNNk.jpg)
Werner Drexler used a heap of aliases as composer and orchestra leader/conductor. He was also the main man behind many projects on the Happy Records and Golden Ring labels, like The Butterflies, Incognito Five, Lord Chester and His Music, The Swingin' Formation, Peter Mellini Combo...
Some of his output was funky (most famously found on two classic eurofunk albums as Ralph Marco Band), but most of it was polite easy listening. I have saved the funky stuff for another day and stuck to the easy and wordless vocals tunes for this comp. I wouldn't mind for a sec getting stuck in an elevator with Werner Drexler's Go-Go-Sound on repeat.

Would there be any chance to re-post links to the comps on pages 1 and 2 of this thread? None of those seem to be working. Thanks again. Really wonderful. Can't say enough.

Thanks for the good words, and nice to hear, BwP.
Wondergroove could be considered for vol 2. (It is already on vol 80 in the series, though.) Reach Out and Manhattan Transfer are not in line, I'm afraid. I have a litte trouble with the sound of smooth jazz saxophones sometimes.

NEW COMPS:
Ho ho! As a litte pre-Xmas gift to the forum I offer 4 comps of tunes by Ray Davies. Yes, THAT Ray Davies! The composer, trumpet player, orchestra leader and arranger, and/or all in one. Containing 86 tracks mostly from the golden age of the 70s. Could work as a retrospective "box set". Most of the tracks are rips from my own record collection, and from a couple of other vinyl source persons. Some remastered CD tracks were used when my vinyl was too scratchy or otherwise deficient. Enjoy (and be kind to your eardrums!)

Track 17 is now "Stiletto" by Chico Rey & The Jet Band (an orchestra assumed to have Ray Davies and his trumpet heavily involved. I got it thanks to a 45 rip provided by a member of this forum.) Tracklist and cover changed, so the new version should be downloaded.

Seems some of these are password protected. Not being able to find any mention of one in the thread. Tried LMT. Have I missed it somewhere?
-
I never use password protection. Please indicate which volumes.
-
I get prompted for a password for all of them, from the first to Last Train to Bruton. Havent downloaded any after that. Tried two different extractors, WINRAR and PZIP. When extracting PZIP I get prompted for a password. When I attempt to extract with WINRAR, I get a archive is corrupt/checksum errors. I downloaded each one separately as a zip file from MU. I have been able to unzip with both with other shares from the main board but for whatever reason my laptop doesn't want to play nice with your files. Well...if it is just me, then that is my problem. Think I'll try moving the zip files to another computer and see how that goes. Thanks for the reply.
-
I can't explain it. I have never used password protection. And no-one else has been asking for pw, so...
Good luck!
-
Yikes. Same result with the other laptop. I wonder if MU was having issues with these files when I downloaded them yesterday. Going to download a few of them again from another laptop and see how it goes.
-
Re-downloaded the first few again on an alternate laptop. They unzipped with WINRAR without issue. Decided I would try downloading the first few with the laptop I was having issues with and they ALSO unzipped with WINRAR without issue. Looks like something on MU's end (zipping processing?) provided me corrupt archives yesterday fwiw. Thanks for all your hard work on these. They look great!

EXPLORING EASY LISTENING LPs (Sound Library vols 250, 251 & 252)
My way to library music didn't go via easy listening, lounge and soundtracks (in the "retro" sense), as I know it did for many people. It's just recently that I've started buying some easy listening records. So here are three "eclectic" collections I made from those purchases. All from my vinyl rips (except track 11 on vol 250.) (I've become so addicted to the original vinyl sound that tracks taken from CDs or digital sources feel like cheating :-)
"Easy Excursions Travel Agency Presents..." is the banner for this new sideline, still under the umbrella of the Sound Library series. Needless to say (and as an alibi for this posting), many well-known library composers, arrangers and musicians were involved in easy listening: Alan Moorhouse, Brian Bennett, David Snell, Johnny Pearson (Sounds Orchestral), Siegfried Schwab (The 18th Century Corporation), Syd Dale (Bama Winds), Johnny Scott (The Original Brasso Band), Harry Stoneham, Ray Davies, Alan Tew, Simon Park...
Some fresh treatments of classic popular tunes here, I think. And I'm still amazed at the fantastic sound achieved by The Frank Barber Percussion Ensemble.
As a point of departure I focused on the "Pye 4D" series (The Quadrophonic issues) and the well-known Studio 2 Stereo series from EMI-Columbia. And somewhere along the road I fell in love with the Bacharach tune "Do You Know The Way To San José?" Imo, it's one of those evergreens that lends itself to many different treatments without losing its integrity or catchiness. So I started collecting versions of it and finally ended up with a comp containing 16 different versions of that song. I'm not sure anyone can stand listening to it all the way through, but it might be worth a try. If it doesn't work, you can use it as a weapon of terror, instrument of torture or masochistic pain inducer. Or put it on repeat while in quarantine or curfew... Maybe it will kill off the virus.
I hope this triple set can brighten up someone's day in these dark times.

Awesome trio Tuneboy. Just going to download and give them a spin.
Thanks for your job.
-
Excellent, it sure did brighten up my day, really appreciate your fantastic work. 8]
-
I'll always have a soft spot for Bacharach. For me, "What the World Needs Now" is the tune that I could hear infinite renditions of...
A great new enterprise here, tuneboy.
-
Hi folks,
I was sorry to hear about the latest server issues here at LMT. I checked the links list on page 1 of this thread, and sure enough: some links were missing. So I have inserted the missing links and the list is now complete again.
(Except for all the unfinished volumes I still haven't had time to do.)
I haven't been very active on LMT lately, but I have not stopped making compilations from my vinyl collection. My latest big project is a 10-volume "best of Paul Mauriat" collection, consisting of tracks from 1965 to 1980, 99% of which I have ripped from the original LPs. I could be persuaded to publish the link to this "box set" folder here, though it's clearly not library music, but rather the old gold standard of old school easy listening. Each comp has a title: "Film & TV Themes", "Dreamtime", "Latin & Dance", "World Hit Parade 1", "World Hit Parade 2", "Magic Music Box 1", "Magic Music Box 2", "Continental Hit Parade 1", "Continental Hit Parade 2", and "Cornucopia". The last two are not quite finished yet, but will be uploaded in due course. I wouldn't need much persuasion for a link to appear here. :-) Or maybe in the "Non-Library" section.
-
Hi tuneboy. Thanks for updating the links. I really enjoy listening to your selections so went over your list again to make sure I hadn't missed any. There was only one!
Were you aware that vols 101 (Speedy Vivace) and 155 (Voices In The Air) are missing from your list? As for future volumes inc the Paul Mauriat set I would be very interested to give them a listen.
-
I didn't notice the 2 missing volumes. Links are up now.

DISCO SATURDAY:
As a continuation of the 5 "Disco Test" volumes in this series
(Volumes 205-209) I have made a new series of comps called "Disco Voyage", with more general vocal disco/disco-pop tracks in combination with instrumentals. I thought some people here might be interested in them. I'm sure the volume called "Disco Smoothies" (Disco Voyage 9) will appeal to many LMT'ers, as it contains mostly instrumentals, some library tracks included, all from the 1970s. More instrumentals can be found especially om the first 3 volumes.
This link to the "DISCO VOYAGE" folder will expire after 14 days.
All Flac vinyl rips, cleaned and with good sound quality, ripped with a Nagaoka MP-500 stylus.
hxxps://mega.nz/folder/HXwhgaKJ#ZXlE0UwbJ1qlMZxbG_E8yQ
In addition to the 9 disco comps, the folder also contains a companion comp to "Clavinet Culture" (Sound Libray vol 125) called "Clavinet Culture Revisited" - with some instrumentals, some basic vocal tracks and some new discoveries.

Cool- thanks!

A small correction to Disco Voyage 4:
Track 06 is "Just For Love" by John Sluszny, not "This Very Moment" by R. Benatar, as I thought.
I have corrected the title and tracklist accordingly at meganz.
It's not the first time I do the mistake of ripping an album and thinking that side B is side A...and ended up with wrong song titles.
Of course, it also happens that the labels are placed on the wrong sides.
-
Listening to Vol. 209 - The Disco Test V. The Armada Orchestra killed it on I Love Music!!! Fantastic. Thanks for adding it to your compilation.
Really looking forward to more new comps from you.
Thanks again!

Sound Library vol 70 - Modern Instrumental Moods 2
hxxps://mega.nz/folder/XOxiRSLC#3kY3STwOPJ_xsUotQYz-0Q
I felt it was time for a new comp of "soundtracks for imaginary films"
by contemporary artists, inspired by classic library music, OST, space age and exotica.
It has a somewhat dreamy feeling.

The rules for this new concept called Ruling Tunes are:
2 tunes paired, 6 arrangements of each tune.
More Ruling Tunes comps are being prepared. As usual, most of the tracks are rips from my vinyl collection.
Vinyl washed on a Pro-Ject VC S2 ALU, grooves picked up by a Nagaoka MP-500 stylus/pickup, pre-amped by a Sutherland Insight, digitized by a black box called NAD PP4, and finally, manually cleaned for clicks in WavePad (Windows).

I second that!
-
Nice to know! Or maybe I shall "do a Frayker" and just disappear? No, all is well with me.
It's just that I'm working on a whole bunch of comps in the "Ruling Tunes" project,
and for each song I choose I have to buy several records I need, wait for them to arrive,
then rip and clean the tracks...and it also costs money. I must earn that money first.
So it takes a lot of time. I will eventually return to the regular series. Many comps are planned.
Many good tracks are collected.

No Fraykers — please…

Thanks for the B&H share, tuneboy. I notice I failed to thank you for the Hotel Easy share. Though I'm slightly confused by that. I thought the Hotel Easy series were a commercial release. And yet you have offered it as your compilation number 215. Or is this your vision of what might have been?
-
You are quite right, I'm a joker, so my Hotel Easy has a fake cover.
-
Thank you Tuneboy.

Thank you very much for your latest shares Tuneboy. Appreciate it. :)

Do you have a compilation focussing on technology/future? As in: Synthesizer motifs, maybe even digital [synths] ones? (Not necessarily spacious space themes though or endless, repetitive synth tracks akin to Jean-Michel Jarre)
The reason I am asking as that Retronic managed to compile nice ones with tracks from albums I actually checked in the past, but when said albums are mixed with genres, I tend to lose focus and skip the gems in-between. When it's a whole compilation full with similar tracks, I don't get distracted as much.

I think vol 117 and 118 could be of interest to you.
And maybe also vol 9 (Android Dreams) and vol 66 (Homo Exoticus Goes Space).
(Links on page 1 of this thread.)
Not much else with synths in this series, as I'm most fond of the pre-synth vintage days (60s and 70s).

KOKA and Frydman is always a good sign! :)

The rules for the Ruling Tunes project are simple:
2 tunes, 6 instrumental versions (more or less) of each on each volume.
Only tunes and versions I like personally.
Compiled from the best sources I could find,
mostly from my own vinyl and CD collection.
More are in the making.

Cool! Thanks Tuneboy.

Thanks for the latest Ruling Tunes compilations tuneboy. In particular Vol 10. Spooky is just one of those songs that no matter who plays it or to what style it is played in it always sounds good. With lyrics (the Rusty Springboard version) or without (the original by Mike Sharpe) and all those you featured (except, maybe, for the Howard Roberts Quartet version which I feel takes it a tad too fast) it never disappoints.

I always enjoy seeing this thread get bumped :)

And if anyone wonders: Where on earth is The Incredible Bongo Band's
famous version of "Apache"? I've always liked that groove, but never
liked the brass sound on it, so I had to exclude it. Maybe some version or mix of it
exists where the brass sounds better, but I have yet to hear it. And I have searched
a lot. It's too late now anyway.
Fun fact: Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Paul Mauriat had
recorded a version of "Apache" as early as 1961, long before he achieved world fame
with his "grand orchestre"! I couldn't find the 7" EP available, so I had
to make do with the digital version on the web, which sounds OK. For unknown reasons the title was
changed to "L'amour fait la loi" in France. I have never seen it on any Paul Mauriat compilations.
Btw: My "box set" of Mauriat can still be found here:

ERRATA
Getting everything correct in the Ruling Tunes project is quite a challenge!
I discovered a mistake on vol 284 regarding "Also Sprach Zarathustra".
Track 1 and 7 are actually 2 different edits of the same recording, with slightly different sound
and LP pressing quality, issued under 2 different orchestra names. Track 1 is 5 minutes long,
track 7 is 4 minutes. If anyone feels harassed by listening to it twice, I suggest you replace
track 7 with Deodato's own. (A small tagging mistake was also discovered and corrected on the same volume.)
Btw: My next comp will be 20 cool big band tracks.
-
Thanks for the tip- you're right about the Deodato replacement.
-
Ready for some big band action?
Here are 20 tracks from 1959 - 1975. Some funky, some beaty,
some jazzy, some latin, some cool. Not much ballroom swing or shuffle.
No dixie. Free drum solos included.

hxxps://mega.nz/folder/GSAggCBA#vXLhBPNSBYlaY6I3MI4V4w
Two action-packed cop show themes composed by Mort Stevens.
In the 90s I was lucky to have a job as translator of subtitles
to the original "Hawaii Five-O" TV series. I fell in love with the whole
thing and ever since those days the theme tune has been ruling the waves
in the music department of my head. On the other hand, the "Police Woman" theme
was unknown to me until I heard it on the fabulous "TV's Greatest Detective
Hits" LP by The John Gregory Orchestra a few years ago. I think they fit
well together. Book'em, Danno!

'Police Woman' has many soundalikes in library music; the piano intro more often than not.
I always liked this use of the John Gregory version sample:

Sound Library vol 289 - Thunderbirds + Bonanza
hxxps://mega.nz/folder/jbY2VSoR#Ru0eNzveNEiEMM3Y_kR4Cg
As I mentioned in a recent post here, I worked as a translator/subtitler for TV in the 90s.
A series I worked with was Thunderbirds, and again I fell in love with the concept.
Of course, when the first thing you do in the morning is to listen to that captivating
Thunderbirds theme as part of your work session, it gets under your skin. And just as with the "Hawaii Five-O" theme
it has been in my head ever after. I just love the way such themes stir a feeling of excitement.
"Trouble ahead. Fear not. Here comes the cavalry to save the day". FAB. QED.
Btw: There are now only 3 Ruling Tunes comps left to finish in my project folder.
No, I'm not telling which tunes.

Thanks for the Thunderbirds/Bonanza volume, tuneboy. I grew up with Thunderbirds and remember my parents buying me a copy of the Thunderbirds theme by Joe Loss on an HMV single which I still have. The original version by Barry Gray wasn't available commercially at that time so the Joe Loss version was all they had in the shop. I remember feeling a little disappointed that the arrangement wasn't the same as the one on the TV. The same was true of the theme from The Avengers on the flip-side though I have come to enjoy listening to them over time.

I came close to including Barry Gray's original (from a CD reissue), but I actually find the Joe Loss version to be a bit better and tighter.
The intro is from the CD mentioned.

A double dose of Wonder:
Paul Mauriat's magic arrangement of "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life" made me realize how
brilliant that tune really is. Up until then it had only been a (sometimes) annoying earworm to me.
Then I started looking for other versions, and soon a new Ruling Tunes comp was born.

(Ruling Tunes 17)

I do believe Otis Redding and his whistling on "Dock Of The Bay" is responsible for
me becoming a loud and compulsive whistler frequently annoying my surroundings.
"Wives And Lovers" has been called "the most sexist song ever".
But why bother with lyrics when we have instrumental music?
And Hal David wrote the lyrics, so I think we should look the other way
and let Bacharach escape scot-free.
"Raindrops Keep Fallin'..." was one of the first singles I regarded as mine
when I was a kid. (Another one was Roger Miller's "King Of The Road".)
I'm not sure, but I might have gotten it as a birthday present. It was a 7" in a picture sleeve,
sung by B.J. Thomas. It's still in my collection. I like it better as an instrumental, though.
Btw:
There is still one more comp in the Ruling Tunes series to come.
I have just ordered an LP from Sweden on Discogs, so I must wait until
that last track arrives before I can finish vol 276.

Thanks for the Raindrops, tuneboy. At a time when the doom and gloom merchants are telling us that July was the hottest one on record that song was certainly more appropriate for last month in this part of France! The Bacharach instrumental version of Wives And Lovers, which I have on a single, has always been a favourite of mine. As for Groovin' it's a perfect summer song. I recall when compiling a radio show a few years back that I stumbled on a French version of the song sung by The Young Rascals. It's probably the worst rendering of a song in French I've ever heard! It's on YT if you're interested.

Last Ruling Tunes (probably)
Two emotional ditties for a rainy Sunday up here in the northern parts
of the globe. It's been an interesting trip for me sniffing out those tunes and
putting these comps together.
(Several Ruling Tunes comps could not be completed, and will probably remain
uncompleted, due to a lack of good material.)
I have a vague idea of listening thru all of them and putting together
a 20 track "best of" to be called "One Comp To Rule Them All",
but right now I'm into collecting the best-sounding versions of
Beatles songs (originals). And that takes time. And that project doesn't belong here.

Lend an ear, lend an ear!
Among the first compilations I made in this series were vol 6 ("The Suave Sounds Of Syd Dale")
and vol 7 ("Syd Dale In Rhythmic Action"). At times I've found it hard to make comps without putting on
a track or two from Syd Dale's Amphonic label. Now the time has come to collect all those tracks
and the rest of my faves from the AMPS "yellowsleeves" LPs (AMPS 101-129).
Vol 72 and 74 contain all the AMPS tracks already comped in this series.
Vol 73 and 75 contain the rest of my fave tunes from the AMPS 101-129 LPs.

This is a companion to Volume 4 ("Snowdrops").
The tracks on this one, nitpicked from CD reissues and mostly from the mid-1950s, are all in glorious mono.
This music is from an era before groovy rhythm sections and Fender bass.
Instead you can expect a lot of gay pizzicato and urgent swirling strings.
People in black and white moving hither and thither :D
There are actually a lot of nice tunes hidden in there. Tracks 11 and 15 are good examples.
It could pay to listen more than once. Just sayin'.

Much appreciated!

Thanks for these Amphonics tuneboy. A number of the tracks have been shared in the past though there were one or two that were new to me. Whatever, I always enjoy your carefully constructed compilations and these four will certainly find their way onto my car stereo.
Likewise with the Wireless compilation. Your description of life back then (black and white people moving hither and thither) clearly written from personal experience, ha, ha!! It's the sort of music played on the wireless when I was a kid. Magic.

Many thanks Tuneboy for the Compilations.

Two new comps to go:
Sound Library vol 54 - LMT Wonderbox 3

This Wonderbox has a lot of Italian bossa with harpsichord.
The AMPS collection is a follow-up to the yellowsleeves. Smooth moods chill.

Listening to Vol 54 now. Thx tuneboy!!
You're doing a great job!
-
Thanks tuneboy. Some more gems to listen to over the coming week!
-
Thanks Tuneboy for the rips.

Just a reminder that I put most of my favourite easy listening versions
of Beatles' songs on this compilation.
Sound Library vol 294 - Easy Beatles

I have more tracks in a folder for a vol 2, but not enough yet.
In the meantime, I have collected the originals in a "box set", so that you can compare them
to the easy listening versions. All for educational purposes, of course.
The best sound from the best sources I could find.

Sound Library vol 216 - Good Grooves 4
hxxps://mega.nz/folder/ebpnCDYQ#weN_CNJWwkl7venl_K_T5g
Instrumental grooves of different kinds - some fast, some slow - from the hyper Johnny Harris Orchestra (1969) to the relaxed Sven Wunder (2023). A little clavinet is included for free.

Ohhh a new tuneboy!! Happy new year 8]

Welcome back from hibernation tuneboy! Thanks for the latest volume. Some good funky tracks here including a surprise one from Percy Faith of all people. I tend to link him with the more mundane, middle-of-the-road easy listening tracks.

This was the background music they played in my favourite hotel lobby in Lausanne just before I was going out to meet Britt Ekland who had promised me a cache of top secret documents stolen from the safe at the French embassy concerning space technology and plutonium.

Ha, in your dreams!!
Thanks for this latest addition to the Sound Library suite @tuneboy. Great music as always. Mind you the Britt Ekland reference dates you. You do realise she's 81 now?! If only we could travel back to the seventies, eh?!

If only we could travel back to the seventies, eh?!
But we can, with this kind of music.

Ha! So, this dates me too!
Big fan of her first husband Peter Sellers. "Hollywood Party" is just a milestone I could watch a billion times.
Thanks Tuneboy.

Now you’re talking, Greta. Peter Sellers is one of my all-time heroes. Mind you my experience started with him in the radio show The Goons. Hilarious but uniquely British humour. I’m not sure how easily it translates into Italian!
-
Sounds cool. ;D
Thank you Tuneboy. :)

More sweet comps from tuneboy. Thanks!
The 70's ruled!

Listening to Sound Library Vol. 288. Sweet. What a fantastic compilation!

Miss you tuneboy!
Thanks for the good words, Jimmy!
I'm still making comps, but with other kinds of music, mainly
melodic vocal pop from the 60s and 70s that can't be squeezed into this forum,
and especially not since the Non-Library is closed.
Feel free to send me a PM if interested in further info.
I'm sure I will return to instrumental and library comps at some later date.

Two new comps:
Sound Library vol 083 - Blowin' the Cool

Yes, I've bin compilin' again'.
I hope nobody's blowin' their cool by listening to "Blowin' the Cool"!
Frank McDonald and Chris Rae recorded under several different group names
for De Wolfe, Hudson and Rouge. Names like Take Six, Soul City Orchestra,
Spinning Wheel, Roots, Unit Eight, Sounds Cool and Patchwork.
Most of these McDonald/Rae tracks can be found on other comps in this series (and I'm sure they are pretty well-known), but isn't it nice to have them collected on a fresh & funky McDonald & Rae Special? Anyway, it's an old idea, so I had to do it sooner or later.
-
Thanks again tuneboy!!!!

Comments from the compiler:
Just Library 13:
I hope "13" is a lucky number this time. A restrained set of funky flutes, clever clavinets, moody mellow foggy synthesizers, heavenly harpsichord, good leisurely lounge grooves and some glances back to where it all came from. A nice way to start the day for any librarian.
The Dreams of a Manta Ray:
"What kind of musical moods would a manta ray dream of?" I asked myself. So I started searching for such tunes in my archives. A funny experiment, shrouded in an Alessandronian aura. I might try a rabbit or a walrus next time. Or a happy hip hippo?
Speedy Vivace 2:
Fast, febrile and/or virtuoso playing has always fascinated me,
so here is the sequel to vol 101, which can be found here:
hxxps://mega.nz/folder/ueZSjRTZ#ciWHNwjcdlGYP_kyMLsMRA
Sure to give you a stressfull time with ants beneath your feet.
Lots of attention-grabbing high quirkyness and fun!

As always sincere thanks for these shares, tuneboy. I'm afraid I'm a little behind with my listening what with Christmas etc. I've only just got round to playing vols 85 & 86. I can't believe how good they are. Not a bum track amongst them.

These compilations are beyond good. Thank you.
