I recorded this record a few years ago but didn't listen to it because I thought it might be boring. Fortunately, it turns out to be a very fun album. It is mostly big band horns. However, it also has an unusual use of electronic sounds throughout most tracks.

Forever (along with sister label F.I.R.) seems to have released both Library records as well as commercial albums. As a bonus, here is one of their commercial releases:

Hi Detective,
there must be some issue with MediaFire.
Like the links provided yesterday by WSBG in his post, there's no way to download the files.
The site's only clickable button is "download faster now" which leads to a subscription page for a pro account.

Well, today I tried a different way and put the links in JDownloader.
It works! This mean the links are "free" but no way to get the files from the MediaFire site, for now.

Thanks for the rips Detective.
I agree "American Journey" is quite a good record. I also prefer when electronic sounds chime in, being horns not my favorite instruments. And "Death Valley" is just cool!

Curious. I tried the Mediafire links and they appeared to work to a point. There are two dialogue boxes on the screen. The one to the left encourages you to opt for a paid download. The one to the right pauses briefly with a message that you ensure you have Java enabled. Then after a couple of seconds it changes to the download link. Mind you the download speed is diabolical. I have fibre broadband and after nearly 5 minutes of downloading these two it's estimating around a further 30 minutes remaining.

I wondered if your problem, Greta, might be something to do with having an Italian IP address. Occasionally individual countries take decisions to make certain web addresses unavailable. But using a VPN as though from Rome the download link appeared. The other aspect is whether you have Java enabled. Though to be honest I can't imagine a modern computer functioning without Java being enabled. And I'm not entirely clear why Mediafire would need that as a pre-requisite.

I have never been entirely comfortable with Mediafire with all its nasty pop-ups though to be fair without the advertising the service wouldn't be free. But it looks like it's trying to be too clever for its own good and making life deven more complicated for the "free" user. I'll continue to stick with Pixeldrain and Mega.

That's the way it was before, yeah. Now just one dialogue box to submit a pro account.
It must have something to do with the ip address as you say.

Here a screenshot I've taken:

Like I said, curious. Maybe it's your browser? I use Safari on my Mac and get much the same as you but, as I mentioned, the two dialogue boxes instead. But when I tried the links using Firefox I got what looks like the old style screen:

I've now had a chance to listen to both of these. Thanks A8detective they're both great albums. The Blizzard album reminds me of many of the concept albums from the late 60s/early 70s. I'm just puzzled by the use of reverb or voice doubling on some of the tracks which tend to push the vocalist to rear centre stage rather than to the front as is the norm. As for the American Journey I'm afraid I'm at odds with Greta. I love the brass just a shame about the strange electronic noises on, for instance, Night In NY. But it's the fact that we all have such a diverse taste in music that makes what we share on LMT so interesting.
