Boosey & Hawkes SBH 3053
« on: March 17, 2025, 04:49:47 PM »
Does anyone have Boosey & Hawkes SBH 3053 in lossless? I have a very old mp3 rip, but would love to have an upgrade to this excellent album.  Thanks.

I noticed that the queries are formulated very awkwardly here. Why not specify it like this: artist - album title - year of release or just provide a link to Discogs.com (https://www.discogs.com/release/2614927-Sound-Studio-Top-Set-Recorded-Music-For-Film-Radio-Television)? To find out what exactly is being searched for, you have to make a bunch of unnecessary movements...  >:(

Actually if the album title and catalogue number aren't apparent from reading the post then I move on and tend to ignore requests that only provide a Discogs link. At the end of the day it's up to each individual to decide how they want to formulate their request, surely?

Thank you, very much appreciated.

Sorry about the request formatting - I will be more aware of that in future.

Don’t worry about the format of your request. Most willl know the album you requested and will reply if they can help. All I look out for is library name, album number and album title. I don’t go out of my way to check external links like Discogs.

I think it's a bit more challenging with B&H because they rarely gave their albums titles, I can never remember which ones I have because there's only the number to distinguish them - I had to look up whether I had this one (and I do!), but fortunately someone got there before me!

Thanks. I only put the label and catalogue number because B&H would use a generic title like "Music for TV and Film" for some of their releases. I thought this would be enough info, but perhaps not. I do appreciate the upload though - this one is one I have wanted to upgrade for many years.

Agreed.
Label and catalog number are the essentials to make the request clear.
Microgramma request looks just good to me.
