Welcome everyone to my first review! Today I will show you an edition of Nuovo Repertorio Editoriale - Usignolo Edizioni Musicali, which was published in 1984 together with Carmelo/Melo Fidelio, Alessandro Simonetto and Riccardo Giagni. The record is made up of seven tracks, five of them are on side A and the other two on side B.

Fidelio (there are not pics of him) was an Italian musician and arranger from Pachino, he passed away in 2002. It also appeared on these records (the only ones registered on Discogs):
- [La Rocca Records] - RELR 1001 - Melo Fidelio - Repertorio Editoriale (Sonorizzazioni - Sottofondi - Sigle)

- [Top Records] - TLP 203 - Melo Fidelio - Musica In Galleria

Fidelio composed two tracks (before or after, the date is unknown), that of Uccelli al Paso and Porto Palos, both tracks of which appear in both NRE 1012 and RELR 1001.
Uccelli al Paso is one of my favourite tracks, as it mixes modern with classical. "Gloomy and cadenced with a baroque touch" - according to Greta, I agree with her.
Porto Palos, a very motivating track, I will always have the enigma of what that little voice is saying. I don't know, something about "Porto Palos" but nothing more. One question, is it possible that the origin of the name of the track is due to
Portopalo di Capo Passero, in Sicily, Italy? It has its similarities.

Simonetto is an Italian violinist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger. Born in Trieste in 1963. Here are two of his tracks:

Frammenti di Sogno, a calm track, ideal for listening on a Sunday afternoon, strolling under the poplar groves or riding a bike.
Barracuda is everything an background track should have, with a touch of psychedelia and rock.
I couldn't get any information about the composer Giagni, which is a shame. But at least we can put a face to it

We only know that he composed three themes:
Video, an electronic theme with a touch of American-style urban jazz.
Terminal, the most accelerated, agitated and energetic theme of Giagni. Excellent sound environment with saxophone, fast rhythm, guitars and piano accompaniment.
Body-Box, beautiful theme that reminds me of the flight of a seagull.
Final conclusionI was fascinated by the record when Rocco shared it on November 1st, 2024. First, I didn't expect it and second, only seven tracks?? I think there are more missing, ten or nine at most, but only seven, for such a good record?? My rating is 5/5 stars.
I think more people should listen to it, you won't be disappointed. I'll leave the link below so you can download it, thanks Rocco for the rip:
