I, too, tried it out of curiosity and I had no problem at all. Using a Mac with The Unarchiver as my default unarchiving app (available on the App Store). No need for Terminal, shell scripts or any other complications. The results are a single FLAC file of 31 minutes and a separate CUE file plus a folder of scans. If you can't split the FLAC file using the CUE file then you can do so with Audacity (Analyze>Silence Finder) which is what I do.
Mind you I'm glad I did try to download it because it is a lovely soundtrack! So, rather perversely, it's as well you were having problems with it Wodsil as it would otherwise have passed me by.
