I just bought 9 Chappell 78s. There are some names I recognise - Ole Jensen, Robert Farnon, Roger Roger. Unfortunately I have nothing to play them on  :(
If you don't have a 78 speed on your turntable, it's possible to rip them at 45rpm and speed them up digitally ;)

Ohhhh! Great idea. I just looked at Audacity and it has a plug in especially tailored to that purpose. Thanks for the tip.

I'm in Singapore but thanks for the offer  :) I'll give it a go but my preamp isn't powering up so it looks like I will have to get a new one.

Just ordered Conroy BMLP 003 and 019.
I was going to include BMLP 001 in this order, but the seller said he didn't have it in stock.

In case - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-x-10-LPs-from-the-Conroy-music-library-BMLP-040-to-BMLP-049/323525532418?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140107083358%26meid%3De90f5b2daebc48a09b298fcfdb9186f4%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D323510368606%26itm%3D323525532418&_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850

She has 60 - 69 too i think!

I got outbid on some she had last week.

Per chance did the seller you purchased the Conroys from, have any others from other labels?

Found myself a lovely Southern LP while out travelling recently, and received a big stack of CDs today! Let's get to ripping :)

so happy to have completed the Ediphon quartet. my most exhausting and thrilling search which led me carrying these togehter from all four corners of the world (literally) trading in my mom, my donkey and my cottage. it's fascinating how they were spread over the globe. i got only one from europe (italy). one from the states, one from japan and one from australia. it must feel like a family reunion for these sticking together after so many years. have tried to add all information and details to discogs database. have found out that the recordings of #2 and #4 come from one session from 1967.

I love it- great when a set is complete :-) and I like the idea that they are reunited!
I'm pretty sure vinyl has feelings anyway.
I've been happily buying LPC Chappells of late- getting a very decent run.

Yeah! Those cases are fun. The disc comes out when you lift the top. I own DCD011 - Drones.

The last record I bought was Happy Records 2206 "Mister Marco's Music".  I paid $100 for one in excellent condition because it helps almost complete my Happy collection.

I haven't recorded it yet.  Love this song from it:

I still have a lot of records to go through.

Some 10":

And a mountain of boxes of records.. probably 30-40% of them are library.
I wouldn't say anything that rare.. maybe some Canadian labels like Quality or Canadisc (I think) or ones like that.
Despite all the Parry records in there, PML 004 "Moods For Drama" was still missing!
