As an added bonus, here's some goodies that came with my Audition Record; an original Robert Hall Productions Coupon, and an interesting note left on the sleeve!

"Steve, please let me know what you think of these. Also, is this what you want to do for the station?"

Howdy do!

I've once again rounded up another batch of Robert Hall albums. This time, it's all New World, and with one exception, all commercial music albums!

W 306 was ripped by a fellow name P*rnLibrary, but I'm not sure about the rest. If anyone knows, as always drop me a line!

Howdy Ya'll!

Back again with another good ol' fashioned dose of Robert Hall albums. All New World (around the the mid 260-270s), Most of which with credited composers and printed dates!

W 264-265 was ripped by P*rnLibrary, while this particular rip of W 278-279 was from Killa. If anyone happens to know the rippers behind the rest, definitely let me know!

Heyo!

I'm finally back with a couple more Robert Hall albums for your listening pleasure! It's a bit of a mixed assortment this time around; mainly some odd bits & ends from Robert Hall's "New World" line, and a rip I did on RH 204-205, an album I shared previously but have never owned til recently. The rip of RH 204-205 floating around suspiciously was missing two tracks on Side B ("Bumkin" & Let's Swing"), and I eventually wanted to figure out why that was. As it turns out...they're completely non-existent. They're nowhere to be found on the record despite being listed on the tracklist. Robert Hall can be a clumsy little label, no?

The New World albums, with the exception of W 15-16, were ripped by Killa. If anyone knows who might've ripped W 15-16, as per usual, let me know!

Because of the looming holiday season, these will likely be the last Robert Hall's I'll be able to share this year. But rest easy! I've got several previously undocumented Hall albums currently kicking around, and I'm sure even more incredible discoveries will be made in the coming year.  In case I don't catch any of you till next month, Happy Holidays, and Happy 2025!

Godspeed, folks!

Howdy, folks!

I've once again got some new shiny Robert Hall albums to share (first of the new year, no less), all of which from my personal collection! We've got a couple of SFX discs, another audition record, and more early-New World production music (which as my pal apmnut pointed out, the album features several ques originally written for Boosey & Hawkes). The real star of the show, however, is W 800, whose existence went completely undocumented until just a couple of months ago. It's a real treat; give it a listen!

Hey folks!

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Long story short, my life’s been changing a lot this year, and I’ve had to make several switches in my commitments. With everything going on, I unfortunately can’t dedicate as much time to my ‘Robert Hall deep dive’ these days. I also don’t have the time to make full YouTube uploads for more of these albums, at least not like I used to. With that said, me and apmnut over the past year have accrued transfers of dozens of newly unearthed albums. I’ve compiled every single album that we’ve found in this Google Drive folder:
drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KDoZ_yEf158sJ2XPwQ1eSFDOhjRjkBUm?usp=sharing

I’ve credited the original rippers whenever applicable, but there are plenty of gaps in the Drive. If any of you know the origins of some of these rips, absolutely let me know so I can add in proper credits. If for whatever reason you’re one of the authors of these rips and would like them taken down, please let me know and I can remove it from the Drive.

I’ll still be hunting down more albums, and will notify you folks with any new uploads to the Drive. A huge thanks to everyone who’s talked, collected, and transferred Robert Hall albums over the years for preserving history and giving us glimpses into the wonderfully bizarre world of this cheeky label. And thank you all for supporting me through uncovering this mysterious label; it’s been such an invigorating ride!

Cheers!
