Hello everyone, I'd like to know if any of you recognize these two pieces of music? They're both from the beginning of the 1980 TV movie The Babysitter starring William Shatner. I've identified almost everything, but I can't find these two, which are a bit like the movie theme. If you have any ideas, please share them. I might make a compilation of unknown library music from the soundtrack I haven't finished.

I love that first tune! Wish I could ID it. Hopefully, someone can help you out.

I shall download and listen later. But a quick check on iMDB ( I am sure you have done this) suggest that music was used from

Ole Georg
Arlon Ober
Leonard Rogowski
Robert J. Walsh*

* Robert may have actually composed the themes specifically for the movie, so may not be present on any library music album.

This is a VERY LONG SHOT - But i am friends with the composer Don Davis. Who composed the music for Invasion, which is a film that Terri Fricon was the music supervisor on. I have no idea if Don has had any communication with Terri since the movie, but i will email Don later too to see if he has any info on Terri (alive or not) and if perchance contact details are given, i shall email Terri to see if they know who composed those tracks (like i said REAL VERY LONG LONG LONG SHOT) but worth a shot none the less!

Wow, amazing!!! Thank you very much The_Eleventh_Hour
At the end of the credits It say it was for Musicways
Yes, it's definitely worth a try. Thank you again

Yes, I checked IMDB. At first, I thought it was Ole Georg, as he produced a lot of library music at Media Music (Capitol Records) and also under other names like Henrik Nielsen, Jack Mayborn, Jan Kimberly, Neil Amsterdam, Robert Ascot and Tom Elliot but I couldn't find anything.

Again at the end of the credits it also says Sound & Music Recording The Burbank Studios, but I couldn't find anything either.

I can't say if there was any Library / production music used in it but the 1982 film The toy starting Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason has been a soundtrack I've looked for for years. Definitely at the top of my most wanted list although I doubt they will ever be an official release of the score
Thanks as always,

Hello joelfan71
thanks for the suggestion, i checked the movie and the soundtrack was composed by Patrick Williams (indeed never released, you right) and the opening title by Jeffrey Osborne, but unfortunality nothing related to library music

Le Pied! french porn movie from 1975 directed by Pierre Unia. This one is a little bit special, in fact all the music come from Standard Music Library ESL 134 Activity/Travel - Dramatic (https://www.discogs.com/release/1553528-Various-ActivityTravel-Dramatic) composed by well known french composer and singer Laurent Voulzy but was initially composed specially for this movie but never released. Only months after, the music was released as library music on Standard Music Library label, they included 4 additional tracks composed by Paul Hart, Don Paul and Alan Sparkes but they are not link with the movie so they're not here. Also thank you Retronic for the original rip of the Standard ESL 134 and Nidostar for the share
