Hi all

Does anyone have KPM 1093 - Johnny Scott - The World Of Johnny Scott (1971)(FLAC)?

Actually, to be specific, I'm trying to find his theme from 'The World Around Us'.

Actually I really don't know. People in the comments of the youtube video said that it was used for another tv program called "the magical world of Tlentifini Maarhaysuu", so maybe your right and the theme was especially created for BBC..
However, if you can have it it's cool !

Just went through some KPM, Southern, Conroy, Peer, etc
Conroy has some similar sounds and the era is right.  Southern might be worth a look too.  Alot of the KPM and Bruton stuff he did is too late for this clip.

I've had a plunder through my collection too and not found anything so far. Just FYI Tlentifini Maarhaysu is a fake show from the UK comedy series Look Around You, with Peter Serafinowicz, who appears to be a fan of the use of library music (particularly KPM) in his shows.

The World Around Us theme was specially composed for the show, so not available anywhere - BBC paperwork has turned up which now appears to say it was composed by Stuart Crombie, rather than Johnny Scott (though I bet JS is the flautist).
