Would someone kindly upload KPM 1098 - Keith Mansfield & Johnny Pearson - Progress and Prestige, Vol. 2 & Fight For Survival (1972)(FLAC) for me.  This one won't load onto my Sony FLAC player. It's happened before but hopefully if someone re-ups it a different link will work.

The files are not damaged.  The archive itself has a recovery record included, so you can use the repair function in winrar to recover damaged information if that is the problem.  I tested these in FLAC frontend and there are no stream errors.  Maybe decode these and recode them back to FLAC, maybe that'll help your situation.  FLACs can be decoded and recoded as many times as you want without loss, that's the point of the format.

Have you tried deleting all the tag info and especially embedded pictures from the files as there maybe something in the FLAC tag info that your Sony doesn't like, I've seen an issue occur with MP3 tag info and certain libraries used to decode them that had bugs.

Lets wrap up the 1000 series.

Here are my rips of KPM 1301 and KPM 1323

Rip details - Archive Vinyl, captured at 96/24 from a sony PS-HX500 with a settled Audio Technica AT440MLb, manually de-clicked and edited in izotope's RX6 advanced including a gentle remaster with Ozone 7 and a slight wave arts MR noise reduction - with occasional RX spectral denoise at the top end. finally conformed to 48/24

Notes, KPM 1323 is noticeably bass light. It also has very eager fade outs.

Also as a bonus here are 379 KPM 1000 scanned front covers at 1400x1400 resolution, it includes all the fancy covers from 1260 upwards. I think there's probably 2 that are lower res and a couple that are made from photos rather than scans.
