Listening to 3409 Appalachian Sunset makes one really appreciate the high quality of composition, arrangement and sound engineering involved in producing library music at the time. And not a synthesizer in sight. It's just a shame that apart from a forum like this and the Jonny Trunks of this world the music goes largely unnoticed out in the big, wide world. Their loss, our gain.

I completely agree with you Nido! Stuff like this doesn’t seem to get enough recognition today. I love the atmospheric feel of this album and the fact that there aren’t any synths on it completely shocks me.
