Our pleasure, happy to help where we can.  Also not laughing at your MP3's.  When I began ripping vinyl many years ago, the default setting was 128kbps, which is poor.

Oh, yes to that. I'm currently re-ripping my vinyl collection to FLAC from the 128kbps I originally employed many years ago.

You do realise that you'd need to re-rip from the original lossless source though to enable the change to flac lossless?

I take it you mean the original vinyl disc? Yes of course. I’m replacing my original MP3 rips with new FLAC rips which is why it takes so long to complete with a collection in excess of 1500 albums. Though I’d not thought to refer to the vinyl LP as a lossless source.
