Hey, fellow LMT members. Usually, when I make these kinds of threads, it's for individual cues, but this time, I'd like to do something different. Here I've gathered up much of my personal "holy grails" for you to ID. The reason I'm doing it this way is so that I won't have to make multiple topics for track ID's. I hope at least one of these tracks can get ID'd, but I don't expect for any of these to. Still, if any of you knows any of these tracks, I'll be forever grateful. Oh, and a word of caution: much of these clips contain dialogue and SFX over the music, but you should be able to hear the cues. Also, the titles you see are obviously mine.

Hey apmnut - I downloaded your zip file twice, but each time when I attempted to open it, I was told the archive is corrupt.  Probably need to re-up that file.

I assume these are all cartoon based? 99% of them sound like they're 1940's through 1950's material. There used to be someone around here that was good at that style and era (can't remember their name for the life of me - maybe it was you under a different name lol), but if that person is still around, whoever they were, they would be the one to probably nail a few of these for ya. 8]

Most of these are indeed from cartoons, mostly from one which was made and syndicated over here in the mid-60s. Some aren't, though, they were taken from old drive-in/movie theater snipe films ("Showtime Spectacular", "Bug-o-Rama"). I DO actually know the source for a number of these cues, most of these ("Airplane Factory", "Ringmaster's Spiel", "Lumbering Along", etc.) are from the old Gordon Zahler library (including some which most certainly are early Mozart Edition tracks I haven't found yet), but I obviously don't have real titles for them.

And, LOL no, that wasn't me under some other username, I've used this handle every incarnation of this board I've been on. Wish I knew who that person you describe was, though. They might know at least a handful of these tracks, although I fear the majority of these might be harder to ID because most of 'em are American or likely from an American library, and American labels from this period (unless if they're like Valentino or Tanner and released their stuff on 78s and LPs) although "Jolly Comedy Ending", "Bug-o-Rama", "Funky Comedy Chase" and "Funky Antics" could be identifiable as they sound like they're from British libraries, with the exception of "Bug-o-Rama" which is likely from Major Records.

See i'm pretty good with the elusive and mega rare American stuff, but not of this era. I'm mostly mid 70's through early 80's with my knowledge of the deep obscure US library stuff. Wish I could remember the person's screen name that may be able to nail a few of these for ya (it was way back in version 1 of the community in 2013)...if they're still around, hopefully they'll pop up here.

Me, too. Maybe I'll make a topic sometime inquiring about that person.
Also, thanks for taking the time to go through these cues. I appreciate it a lot.
Finally, I've re-upped the folder again with some new tracks.

I know for sure I've heard "Light Comic Transition" somewhere before. If you haven't already, you might want to check out "Ren & Stimpy - Production Music". I don't know who compiled these, but there are 3 volumes of mixed production music used on the show. It's likely some of these are in there.

The only ones I can help with are:
Christmas is Coming (British?) - "Snow Bell Polka" by Sidney Torch from Chappell LPC 814-819
Pink Bel-Air (Harmonic?) "Lovely Day" by Tom Wyler, it is on KPM Archives CD but obviously from somewhere else

Hey, Retronator-
I'm aware of those Ren and Stimpy comps, and I know the archive material on those volumes, but sadly none of them are any of the cues I'm looking for. Thanks for trying to help me out, though!

Thanks for ID'ing those two, Craig! I'll admit, I did kinda think that "Christmas is Coming" was Chappell, nice to have that suspicion confirmed. By the way, "Lovely Day" is from Charles Brull's Harmonic library, all the cues on that KPM CD are from there.

Have you checked KPM's Editor Companion series? Some of the short little cues might be from those... That's about all I can think of.

Checked those albums for a few of these tracks, but couldn't find them there. Thanks for the tip.

Updated once again with a bunch more tracks. Removed a couple of them as they've been ID'd.
