This is an odd little space age pop LP that I've just discovered, offering big band arrangements of some familiar standards, but with a little gimmick added to them: sound effects play an important part in the tracks here, supplying rhythm and accents for the arrangements. The odd sound effects, edited by Phil Kaye, really make this LP stand out from the thousands of other easy listening/space age pop albums released around this time.
