Thanks tuneboy. Time may have forgotten some of these tunes but I certainly haven't. Captain Scarlet, Danger Man. Fantastic. And great to hear them in the high quality you aspire to.

Thanks for Just Library 14 tuneboy. Another good selection of tracks which must be difficult to compile because there is so much good stuff out there.

It's both fun and difficult. Each comp is a kind of mosaic. Every piece must fit. The ideal is that they should work as complete albums, best listened to the whole way through. I still find many good unknown/unused tracks in my archive, but I also feel that I'm
slowly approaching a place where I've comped most or all of the good stuff. And the rest is impossible to find in good enough sound quality. (I'm only talking about the "vintage" periode here.) But fear not: Several new ones will soon appear! I'll work on the next one today. And one called "Stairway to Latin" is in the works.

Hello Тuneboy! I've been following your compilations for a long time and collecting them, although I haven't gotten around to saying a huge thank you before, to my shame. So, I thank you very much for your work! I got acquainted with many labels thanks to your stuff. I would also like to know, if it's not a secret, you wrote that good stuff for the compilation will run out, but the last one on the list is called vol 295, while there are 228 of them. So, will you finish the whole series?

Thanks for the thanks, GefMongoose! My initial master plan was to make 365 comps, one for each day in the year, but I soon realised that it was too ambitious. The numbering of the volumes soon got out of hand. Plans and ideas changed along the way. So now I'm just filling in empty slots etc. I'm not gonna work towards 295, but it's not impossible that I'll reach that number one day.

It's good to hear that you've used the comps to discover stuff; that was part of my intention with sharing them here.

I have estimated for myself that in about one year from now, I will have exhausted
most of the available sources (including my own archives on external HDs and my record collection). After that I guess I will make a comp only now and then, when I find enough uncomped killer tracks and new old stuff is made available. Or if I buy some holy grails. But right now I feel pretty addicted to this activity. Today I was searching for the last tracks for a new latin comp, and got totally sidetracked by discovering loads of forgotten tracks that will fit well on other planned theme comps! I did find the last 2 missing latin tracks, though, but I must wait for an LP by Cornelis op den Zieken bought at Discogs before I can finish it.

Glad to hear Tuneboy, means you're not ending your career and we have another year to go! As for the material, maybe there are reasons for that, but I don't think you use Italian composers that much. You did a compilation of 3 volumes of Alessandro Alessandroni and one each for Morricone and Nicolai. Since I love Italian stuff, it would be interesting to see volumes dedicated to Giuliano Sorgini, Fabio Fabor and Stelvio Cipriani for example. The same can be said about France, Janko Nilovic deserves a separate presentation in the collection. By the way, you can also make an industral compilation on the theme of construction, plants, factories. From unusual, I still had in my head the idea of a compilation on the theme of water and underwater life, such is also found in library music sometimes. But these are all just thoughts, I'll be looking forward to any new projects you may have. Thanks from your faithful fan!

Yes, there are more Italian composers that deserve a "Composed by". And
Janko Nilovic is on my list. And Piero Umiliani. The problem is often a lack of
material and very different recording quality between the tracks. But it's also
a matter of taste. I'm partial to British and German recordings.
