Hi all, wondering if anyone can help with these?

I've accumulated a bunch of unknown tracks over the years, mostly from railway-related videos but there's some tracks from other subject matters in the mystery pile too. No matter how hard I try these ones have proved quite difficult to identify!

I've set up a thread for the rail tracks (pun entirely intended) and might do so for some of my other unknowns later - and I've detailed any additional information I may have about each track atop the link to it along with a timestamp of when the track starts.

Any help in solving these mysteries would be greatly appreciated :)

------------

  • (18:33) Thanks to the credits, we know the music in this one is by the duo of Steve Pritchard and Chris King; sadly this information hasn't helped me work out what it is!
  • (20:48) Same composers here, same lack of luck IDing it. There's also a synth track at 2:06 I can't identify.
  • (0:00) (15:50) Another British Rail-era video, this one with some nice synth music at start and finish!
  • (0:00) (19:42) The synth continues with this video's music, definitely has that 80s feel to it despite being a '92 video.
  • (17:27) A Railtrack-era video has this elusive track, I'm quite sure they used this one in a few videos too:
  • (9:23) Found by ChunYinZi! (02. Dirt In The Box - AVP 019 'Sport And Action Vol. 3')
  • (0:08) (8:36) A dramatic piece here in this late-80s training video.
  • (57.50) I already know the music at the start of this video; I'm actually interested in the synth sweep at the end!
  • (9:23) Found by ChunYinZi! (02. Time Bandit - BOS 166 'Rock Of Ages Phase 2')

You didn't include the timestamp of the song you're looking for in the video.

Apologies - I'll go and add them in now, I thought the videos would automatically start at the correct points :-[

Lord Thames

I strongly suspect the Pritchard and King material may be specially composed for the videos in question - Steve Pritchard has a Bandcamp page, it probably wouldn't do any harm to ask him on that!

I don't know why, but I can't reply to your message,

but I want to let you know that I know the source of that song that starts at 9 minutes and 23 seconds.

From AVP 019,

That's the one, thank you very much! I don't know why I didn't think of AVP - their stuff is in some mid-2000s railways videos too.

I'm sure I've previously identified the music on video 4 but it escapes me for now. There's a good chance it's from Bosworth with "Killer Stings' being a favourite of Spa around that time.

The Pritchard and King track could be commissioned however, it might be library with the composers using a different name. Bosworth again is a good possibility.

I've had a fairly thorough search of the Bosworth archives and run it through my audio fingerprinter to be doubly sure - can't seem to find a match though. Spa did like to use their music though, you're right there!

I've added a few more to the list that I found the other day too - again, any help would be appreciated!

I can't believe I missed that in my search of the Bosworth stuff - thank you!

----edit---

I think I have an ID on #7 (01. Siluria - MAX001 'Audio Business') but I can't find any of the Maximus Music Library releases anywhere to confirm it.
